I pay just over £800 for my Skoda Rapid 1.2 TSI. FC, 1Yr NCB, 1 Fault Claim, 22 years old, Self Employed so needs business miles up to 25k/yr. If I didn't have the business inclusion on there, it would have been ~£350 - for the same mileage cover.
Not "happy" about paying out for insurance, but who is! I need it to work and earn, so I really just have to pay what I get quoted. Since having my own policies (19 years old), I haven't paid more than £930 so I don't think I've faired that badly, considering I've been self employed for all of that time as well.
I would hope that, all being well, when the policy comes to renew I will be able to reduce my premium by £200 or so, with a further years no claims on there.
