Your Dream Lifestyle?

Would be quite happy in a Glaswegian drug den, so long as when I awoke from my stupor each (late) morning, Ariana Grande was there with me :)

Have a massive house, huge car collection and hire hookers for every single room of the house so I can get some action whenever I fancy it.

That's what dreams are made of right there.

Living on a tropical island like somewhere in the Maldives, and just be able to sunbathe, read, swim & dive on an untouched tropical reef during the day. But at night have enough mod cons to be able to live a 1st world life like I live now.

Ah ok, I would have thought you have to do more than 5 trips per month. I have a couple of pilot friends and they have a quite hard life.

It depends on the length of the trips. Shorthaul you generally work 5 days a week (with between 2 and 6 flights a day!) and then a few days off.

Longhaul generally is around 5 trips a month but each trip will be between 2 and 5 days long (longer trips also mean more time off when you get home and so less trips a month) but with only 2 flights in each trip.

This month I'll have been to Hong Kong, Lagos, LA and Cape Town with 2 nights in each.

House with a back garden and a dog. Girl friends to share it with. I would like to own a few houses around the world, florida, mexico, panama, south africa, singapore, some in europe. Awesome to have a boat of some kind as well.

Job wise, id like to be able to work for 6 months of the year and spend the other 6 months at my houses taking up surfing or running some kind of businesses. Id love to own a bar on the beach in some nice location but i imagine that lots of work.

Realistically a house near the coast in the uk would be sufficient with annual holidays.

Dream life? House in the heart of Snowdonia writing books, drinking whisky with my family close by with enough money in the bank to never worry about bills.

I'd also like another child (or another grandchild) but that's not likely to happen.

Achievable? I'd like another novel and to get in and stay on the best seller lists for a while.

I'm a simple person, er not like that, and would be happy with a nice house and not having to work but living comfortably. Say £25k a year plus owning own house. I could do what I wanted, within the scope of what I enjoy now which is motorbikes, games and films, and that would be me set for the rest of my life.

Pretty much me really. I don't have much in the way of material needs, so as long as I could pursue the odd hobby without money worries then that would suit me just fine. If I won a staggering amount of money, I'd have to give some of it away to those less fortunate / children / elderly / animal related causes.

I'd have a ******* enormous aquarium though! :D

mmmm, my dream lifestyle

To live in a nice house, but nothing too silly. Something like this

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-45774781.html

drive a day to day car, and have something special sat in the garage

enough money to travel around the world watching all the F1 races

and the most important ones.....no health issues, no health issues for the family, everyone happy etc etc etc

:edit: and to make a difference in someone elses life. Actually I already have, but thought it was a good thing to mention

Nothing.
Well, i'm on the opinion nothing will make me happy so what's the point in hoping for things that wont ever happen. Don't aim for anything, don't want anything.

That's the spirit!!

As for me, I think traveling as and when I wanted would be a start (even if I have been abroad 8 times this year already), but also to be at the top of my game professionally would be amazing. The trappings of such a lifestyle for me would only need to be a house big enough to entertain close friends and family, and a car that gets from a to be successfully on the vast majority of journeys.

Yeah indeed, my GF's brother is a commercial pilot and he is worked fairly hard.

Edit: just saw above, i guess he is only mid-haul type trip lengths. I think he does several per week.
