But I need some help in deciding with ones to go with I have been looking at Saitek Pro Gamer, Pro Flight Cessna Rudder Pedals and CH Pro Pedals.

Any suggest which one I should go with that will work well with the TH Warthog?

I use the saitec flight pro and they work great but be aware that rudder pedals are currently broken ingame since 3.9 beta awaiting fix that should roll out with gamma
 
some details for gamma :)

The first gamma build will be released in a little over an hour. People will be kicked from the server shortly . Here is the change log for the build:

- Playable area no longer restricted to beta bubble
- Playable ship Python added
- Playable ship Orca added
- Kickstarter starting ships and locations added
- Freagles added
- Capital ship events added

- Fix crash following docking and accessing starport services
- Fix for multiple input devices not working - for example pedals and throttle from multiple input device controllers
- Chances for USSs increased
- Fix for cargo hatch not ejecting any cargo when malfunctioning
- Workaround for AMD white lines issue
- Check to make sure the target is this machine that this machine is ready to receive authority
- New games account for fines, bounties, and permits
- Added missing text strings for Federal and Imperial missions
- NPC Comms in Another Castle Unidentified Signal Sources should now only display the new target destination rather than listing multiple destinations

Servers down for me, then tried a tutorial and my joystick wasnt working. The profile for my joystick is missing or corrupt grr and i really dont fancy going through rebinding it all again.

Next time i went in it goes to a "new commander what is your name" kinda screen and now i think they did a wipe. But reading the post above me it looks like it might now be gamma even tho there was no update to the files today afaik.

Damn weird.

The devs are still not 100% sure, there will be another big update on Dec 16th and although they will do their best to avoid a wipe it might be inevitable. They are saying best to expect a wipe on the 16th, but it might not happen.

If you are thinking of making some serious money I would be aware there might be one more evil wipe awaiting then.

Sorry if that has done absolutely nothing to calm your worrying! :D
 
Started at Lave, bought a whopping 1 tonne of Beer with my 100 credits. Set a jump to Zaonce, hit launch and get a server disconnect :(
 
Down again or is for me. Also is gal map music bugged and low volume or just me?

Wonder if the rush has crashed the servers?

Hmm there websites/forums are down also.

Any news on the hard/soft/no wipe at the end of Gamma ?

I would really like to know before putting in time. If I am playing for fun I will do different things than playing for startup money.
 
Servers down again. Not sure if its just where I started in game (Lave) but fuel seems to be 20 times more expensive. I started with 100 credits and after a couple of jumps it was over 700Cr to refuel :eek:
 
There will be a new influx of players from gamma kickstarters and america is waking up, finished their coffee and jumping on the game.

The servers in cambridge are heating up, bending and buckling under the strain with the server guys screaming to big dave "she cannae take it captain" ;)
