Dragon Age Inquisition

Fair enough but who buys direct from origin when every other source is cheaper? A couple of quid is fair enough but they always at least £15 over everywhere else.

Not having a go there bud and sorry if it seemed that way Im just curious, does anyone actually buy from origin?

CJS cd keys are never more than £30 for a pc game.

Absolutely loving this game so far but it does have a few niggles.

I've came across a crap load of bugs but none of them are game breaking eg.

  1. Eyes bulge out during cut scenes (only happened once)
  2. NPC not showing up where they should be and the locater shows them to be on a position outside of where you're able to go (moving out the zone and going straight back fixed this
  3. Various graphical bugs including character just floating about and a dragon just floating about as well which kinda ruined a major story line for me so I ended up having to resort to a previous save

Those are just a few of the ones I've came across, also the tactical screen is next to useless.

On a side note I've had no problem with the mouse and keyboard controls but at the same time there no where near as optimised as they were for origins.
Other than that I love how big the areas are and the love the variety of quests that are available although it's a little overwhelming when you look at your journal and have about 30 quests to do lol, hey ho I'd rather have too many quests than not enough.

All in all it's a brilliant game and for me personally one of the best games in the past 5 years but I still prefer Origins and the expansions that came with it. 9.5 outta 10 for me.

I have to say I love the game. Very pretty and very engaging however,as a PC gamer I expect a bioware RPG to a lot more playable on KBM. I hate myself for doing it but Ive plugged my XB1 pad in and its just a lot easier to control. Dragonage origins was perfect for me and the control scheme was spot on so why take a step backwards? I understand Consoles are where the money is but they have already given us KBM controls that work in previous games! Very frustrating...

I was in exactly the same boat, controller does feel very good in it though so I won't complain too much, in fact for a game where I invest so much of my time into, I probably prefer sitting back on my chair, with the pad anyway.

Got very far into the game now. Really enjoying the story, the grinding for resources to keep me and my crew amply geared is a pain though. The drops are just painfully bad, each purple item need a level requirement reduction of at least 3 to be useful, or even comparative, either that or they should have enchantments a lot more powerful than you can gather from crafting to try and make up the difference. It's so annoying when you have purple drops and they are immediately thrown into the valuables section of your inventory.

After the miserably dull atmosphere for the 2nd game, the variation in landscapes and scenery is great. The sheer size of the game is what impresses me most though. This has content that matches many MMORPG's, which are meant to be engaging for people over an incredibly long period of time.

Overall I am really impressed.

I did, because I unlocked it on Monday, so.

28 hours in and only level 13. I may be losing my mind and/or focus. The game just gets even bigger, bolder, more colourful and grindier...

Still haven't met Morrigan. :( Though I did meet someone else and I like what they've done with him.

Similiar to me. I just reached 22hrs and only unlocked Skyhold. Huge game is huge!

It's as big as you make it, which is great. I completed my first play through in 27 hours, but left over half the content unexplored. For my second play through, I'm determined to do everything!

I buy maybe one game every 4 months so I'm not very familiar with where to get deals sorry..

Thanks, I currently have a 280x and am planning to upgrade to 1440p soon and am perfectly fine with not playing on ultra, so sounds good! Think I'll go for it, I was concerned if the game would be a buggy mess and doesn't sound like it is. :)

Nah, it's not too bad. There are some edges that need rounding off, that's to be sure, but otherwise it's digital crack

Anyone else had issues when equipping armour and it not displaying on the character? Only got this yesterday and got the inquisition set for my qunari warrior. Got a new custom set now but was just annoying

BTW, it has been confirmed that the lack of party banter is bug and they are working on it. Loads of people sent their save files to Bioware and they are looking in to it. Pretty massive bug, and I'm pretty sure not the only one like that(lack of post campaign dialogue, merchants not turning up in Skyhold to name a few). I'm my second playthrough I can't move for party banter!... Happens every few minutes. The amount of good content some people are missing out on is poor! Over 3 hours of content.

This game is actually riddled with bugs, but the nature of them means that most people will not notice many of them!

I'd recommend waiting for them to patch it as you could play a whole game with no party banter and that is one of the main draws for some people.

PS. And hopefully by that time they will have added a ****ING STORAGE CHEST as well!

Don't need to tell me how buggy it is, I can't play for longer than a few minutes without crashing to desktop. I'll probably try 1 more fix that I read about today and then just wait for the patch.

Keeps crashing on me as well, I'll wait until they release a patch.

Really annoying though, the short while I've managed to play has been pretty darn good, very different feel to the first couple of games. Feels like skyrim but with dragon age lore.

Either way, it's streets ahead of DA2

I can't remember the last time a game had me so engrossed in every detail... Might actually be dragon age origins that I just sat and played. Apart from a few minor glitches I have to say this is fairly well polished from my experience.
