I'm only missing Hawkmoon, Icebreaker and the Horn to my knowledge.

Pocket Infinity used to be immense pre nerf I'm led to believe. It's just OK now, burns through ammo far too quickly to be of any use though.

Edit: Seems I have yet to find Thunderlord too.
 
The PLAN C if you like fusion rifles is probably the best in the game.

It has a fast charge perk once upgraded. I used it in the weekly and nightfall and it killed the knights very quickly.

Where is excels though is PVP, it's like a long range shotgun, the 2 weapons people were owning with in the Iron Banner was Suros and Plan C.

Patience and Time is a brilliant sniper, as good as the ice breaker. The ice breakers claim to fame is infinite ammo but it takes 5 seconds to regenerate 1 bullet and it can only hold a maximum of 6. It's fairly limited in a ammo sense, you need to constantly switch weapons when using it.

P and T has better damage for nightfall, as the icebreaker is solar.

If you play PvP I would say the Plan C is a must, if you don't then it's still good but probably better off saving the coins for something you really want.

There is a rocket launcher that is a must the Gjallhorn is it? I am waiting for that rocket launcher and Suros Regime.

I think it's worth trying to get as many exotics as possible, but if your limited on coins don't buy the average ones. I try to keep 50 coins in my bank just in case.
 
I remember getting spanked a few times by Plan C users during the Banana but the Fusion rifle that seemed most effective was the Legendary Light/Beware. I swear that thing was crazy powerful, didn't seem like it needed a long time to charge and didn't seem to require a full burst to wreck you.

I looked at it and it's stats/perks didn't seem all that special, I was getting hammered by players using it though??

Against knights yes but against Wizards Icebreaker is a better choice (unless Arc burn is running).

I do like my P&T though. As with my fusion rifle it is just waiting on Ascendant energy to fully upgrade. The ability to run it like a scoped scout rifle (high RoF and perfect stability) are massive advantages. Critical shots are easy to line up.
 
I like P&T, it's stable and fast enough to easily plant six rounds on Atheon's crit with time to get your heavy out (oo-er). Not getting used much since I got gjalla. Think I'm going to get my Light/Beware maxed ready for the hive raid. Arc fusion plus gjalla solar nukes should be a good combo :)

Purifier VII is great as well.
Super quick charge time and a decent range and spread.
 
Anyone know if the new raid will be available to play on the 9th with the rest of the DLC or if its going to be a little later? As far as I know it's all accessible on the 9th but I keep reading and hearing different things!

dont worry your not the only one, been raiding for the late 8 times waiting for the gloves to drop and nothing.
All the 30 gear will be replaced in the next dlc so shouldnt worry.
or thats what i keep telling myself lol

This is my go-to weapon to take down the big Minotaurs and anything with a shield - it absolutely wrecks! First weapon I maxed - and still always my secondary special weapon (other than if I need a cheesy icrebreaker with its ammo replenish) It's good in PVP too - one shot kill ;)

Suros Regime is a bit over-hyped if you ask me - It's sat in my vault doin' nowt- Monte Carlo is better I find - just have to get used to how it fires.

Only weapon I really want now though is the Gallahjorn (missed it when i first started playing destiny)
 
Does anyone still need to do the weekly? I need to get a strike done with a full fireteam from the same clan, so I may as well kill two birds with one stone
 
So my missus was gaming on Dragon Age all day today, so I went to play Destiny on the 360 after a week away... I really sucked, hard on level 28 Weekly and Nightfall... just can't get pass the 3 wave wizards.

What gave Dragon age done to me?????
 
Trying to do the PVP part of the Thorn bounty and I hate it. Doesn't help that I suck at PVP at the best of times. Having to do it the cheap route, grenades and Truth :(

That's the last exotic bounty I have left to do. I'm a hunter also so don't have any void grenades or melee attack. I'm going to wait to get Atheon's Epilogue before attempting it.

Already Confirmed it won't be available at launch. Likely another few weeks after, possibly even new year ? They haven't given a date, just said it will be later

i need to do that stage as well, i know maybe two other people. maybe we should try and meet up and do it together?

3v3 was exactly what I was thinking. Should be relatively quick if you have friends that don't mind getting killed.

Just got my 500 points so onto Xyor the Unwed now.
 
Just had a go at soloing the strike for Xyor. That's not happening, it's like a mini Nightfall at LVL26. Got to the room with the 3 waves and delt with the trash, but the Knights keep ducking back and recharging the shields.

So going to need the help of a group, anyone available for a run later on today? I should be able to get on anytime.
