Super Smash Bros, for Wii U and 3DS

Tell you what getting the GameCube adapter up and running, has made a notice difference online. Used a usb splitter so I have enough room at the back for when the lan adapter arrives. Rumble and pad both work fine on one port.

Never liked using the GameCube controller for anything, I find it too small for my hands. Using the Wii U Pro controller is perfect for me on Smash but I might try the GameCube controller if I can find it

I've gone from the pro pad, it just appears to perform better with the online latency. noting major just A tad better with input.

I have the GC adapter and a Wavebird, although I think I actually prefer my Mario Wired Fight Pad connected to a Wiimote.

Amazon have cancelled my Smash Bros Adapter order!
It seems I'm not the only one! Looking at the comments hundreds of other people have also had their orders cancelled.

Seems like an atrocious job on Nintendos part of clearly not making enough adapters, spent too much time making **** amiibos which don't offer much to a game.

If you're in Grays per for avatar, there's the Smash with the adapter in stock at Smyths at the Rayleigh Weir store. It's available for Click and Collect.

I can't see this on their site

Ah i appear to still have it in my basket! Looks like it's removed from the site, if I select other stores majority don't have stock. Suppose if you wanted the faff and travel give em a call. :)

Maybe Nintendo underestimated how popular they would be?

I just rang them, and they too are out of stock.
I'll probably phone around different stores and see what happens.

A thumbnail blister and a bit of handache later, and the GC controller is back to feeling very comfortable for me again :D.
It kinda moulds into your hands once you've adapted to it again.

What button config are people using on GC controller - I've got LS jump off, Special on Y, Atk on A and on C-Stick, Jump on B, throw on Z/X, then of course shields on L/R.

It depends. No if you're think about playing it seriously, yes for a party game.

It's another smash game that's constantly being crippled competitively by patching out anything interesting as soon as it's discovered.

It's a great party game to face roll on with 7 of your friends though.

How much space does the digital download copy take compared to a physical disc installation?

What physical disc installation?

If you're thinking about playing it seriously its still a great game IMO.

Its not Melee or PM but its a lot better than Brawl and the online works pretty well.

It'll be the easiest to get into now as well since you need a good PC and internet to play Netplay on the others.
