What did you do to your bike today?

I honestly don't think it could look any worse. Such a shame to spoil the lovely lines of the bike. :(

The lovely lines of the ST died when they got rid of the underseat exhaust. :(

But as said needs must, I think top boxes look gash on all bikes, I much prefer the factory look of the square luggages for the BMW, KTM etc.

Square like mine. The only problem I have with Triumphs top box is the fact they used neutron star material to make it. Also with what they charge for it, I can't imagine anyone buying it over a Givi, or equivalent, if it wasn't given away free in a promotion like mine was.

The problem with a rucksack, and I use one as well as my top box, is some foods don't fit well without being on their side and potentially leaking.

The triples look so wrong with a top box and no under seat twin exhausts :(

I like the low slung exhaust. The stock twin exhausts were horribly bulky lumps imo.

Have to say, a top box on a street triple is just wrong! But needs must I suppose, I'd rather have a decent tail pack.

How are the pilot 4's in this cold damp weather?

Really good. Have only put around 400 miles on the bike so far, and only about 250 miles on the the new tyres, but I've not had any hint of any loss of traction with them so far in the wet.

That looks ridiculous :( I know you need it but it looks terrible & the reason I won't have one on my Ape, I use one of my rucksacks depending on what I need to carry.

I need to commute and fit an aerostich suit and a helmet in it all day. A rucksack and soft bag wouldn't work. Having a solution that works and means I'm off the bike and in smart work clothes within a minute is more important to me tbh.

Tail pack + rucksack for me.

Just look at it :p

It's a small compact bike and looks really weird with a massive box on the back. The mount alone looks weird to me too.

The triple is likely to be adversely affected more than most bikes by weight in the top box because of it's low weight and affinity to wheelie.

Meh, looks okay without the box imo. Plus the weight of the rack and topbox is still less weight up high at the back than the old twin cans. :p

Just Man up & get decent rucksacks or get the **** out !!!

:p

What do you suggest? A Bergen maybe? :p

Yer you need one of those Gay scooters that you can fit a helmet under the seat & the leg shields will keep your suit clean as well, Perfectly suited to you I reckon. :D

Ooooooooooooo!
Do you have a spare backpack to carry your handbag in? :D

:p What ya on about I ride a Proper bike, I'm well hard me I got an Aprilia Shiver :p

tank covers/bags are handy, just strap your stuff to them

that's the biggest bugbear with a bike though not being able to carry much:(

By the end of next year we'll know. :p

Done just over a 1000 miles on it so far so we'll see how many 1000's I can do. :D
