**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

My O2 N4 is on N910FXXU1ANJ4 with build number KTU84P.N910FXXU1ANJ4.

What would be the best firmware for me to pu on there and is there a numpties guide to doing it?

Just ordered a note 4, be here tomorrow :) just need to pick which network should i use, giffgaff or O2, been reading on giffgaff forum they having problems activating sims could take upto 24hrs to activate :(
Anyone here use giffgaff?

I'm amazed at the battery life this phone achieves. I took it off charge at 23:30 on Sunday night and it's still on 40% charge at the time of writing (12:38, Tuesday). That's with an hour of web browsing, two and a half hours of spotify/beyond pod and four phone calls with various emails/texts thrown in for good measure.

My old HTC One would have not even lasted until the end of the day if I took it off charge at 08:30 in the morning!

I was using gift gaff on 3g sim, Bought my note directly from gift gaff came with a 4g sim transfered over to 4g within minutes, hope my reply helps you.

I haven't bought the note 4 from giffgaff just got a sim from them, not activated yet because waiting for note 4 to come tomorrow from big super market, so i could get some points and topcashback on it :)
Still in 2 minds which network to use.

Yes. Awful service, 4G download speeds 1-3 meg, but 16 meg upload. Go figure. I've waited several months for it to improve but it has remained the same, so I'll finally move early in the new year if they haven't got on top of it.

Just did a speed test using ookla speed test getting 6.46 download upload 12.01, BTW always seam to get a better upload than download, PS go onto o2. Coverage site to see if 4g is in your area otherwise you could be using 3g instead, besides I have easily 25 Mbps download on my ee dongle , ee coverage is better in my area.

just did a second test on phone 7.23Mbps download and 21.13Mbps upload.

none of my phones bet it a note 4, onePLusOne etc never lasts that long.

it all depends on your usage and apps.

Use the same apps and usage as me and you wont make it past monday night

I'm sure it wouldn't. But then if you put the same apps on a phone like the HTC One (M7) it wouldn't last as long as the Note 4 so the point that the Note 4 has a beast of a battery still stands.
