**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

So,

getting tired of iOS and wanting to move back to Andriod (had SIII) before. I did play around with a 4 for a few minutes in a store and I did like what I saw. I was planning on either this or the Nexus 6 originally (preferred stock andriod) but seeing as that phone is so huge, without any kind of pen, and the 5 is a bit old now, so I figure I'm set on the 4.

Any other things to help me in my swayed decision, or things to perhaps consider when getting into it?

You'll have to worry about charging your Note4 a LOT less now compared to older phones. My one just hit 3 days of battery life with 4hours on screen time at 2%. The thing is a beast.
 
I have a three branded phone also and am still on the J firmware. I have rooted. Is there anyway to get the update?

Kies is saying im on the latest version.
 
My rooted Note 4 has just picked up a 123mb update. Not sure what it is though as there was no changelog.

Edit: Update downloaded but didn't apply :)

manually update the firmware with Odin, quick and easy, did mine last night, followed by a factory reset.

It seems I have got it working with kies by using the firmware initialisation and upgrade option.

If it fails I'll give that a go.

On a separate note did I see someone mention there was a workaround for the free dropbox space by adding the account as a folder within an original account?
 
Picked one of these up and it updates straight away, reading all the reports on here of it being slow but not getting that so I guess this update fixed it as it's snappy.
 
Giving up on the Nexus 6 - 64GB and rolling with the Note. Keeping my 3 sim so just need a handset, looking at the temp out of stock on Amazon but wanting someone with a decent returns system if I have an issue, is that the best place to go guys?

What cards are you guys using with it - thinking maybe a 64GB... :)

I'm in the same boat as you, well almost, just ordered myself a microsd card 64GB
this one,
Samsung Memory 64GB Pro MicroSDHC UHS-I Grade 1 Class 10 Memory Card
from the big rain forrest :) but i had to use the marketplace because as you said out of stock.
I still need a note 4 yet, but it'll take forever to get the memory now it's close to xmas, but i think sometime this week i'll get the note 4 ordered.

SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC 64 GB UHS-I Class 10 Memory Card. Got one on my tablet as well.
