Been watching this,and the Star Citizen thread for what seems like forever,just ordered Elite,i don't even have a joystick yet either.

Just need you to get second ship fully tooled up and join the sidewinder squad to enact some inhouse scrapping.
Love this game just got intradicted in my shiny new Asp by human, never panicked so much in my life..........
Zefan I had three of them chasing me around tonight, wouldn't have minded but I had a full load of hard earned booty and I wasn't giving it up lightly. 7 interdiction attempts between 2 stations in the same system. I got inside and still had one targetted- the trio hung around outside waiting on me leaving.
I did eventually and got away, was great fun
Would have had a go but was still in my starter cobra with a rebuy value of 12credits lol

Probably going to have to clear my save
Stuck in space, cannot throttle, have fuel, joystick axis do not work?
If I self destruct, end up back at station but just float off and cannot control ship?
If I restart game/client, stuck in space again, rinse-repeat.....
Controls work fine in tutorials.
Hope they can sort it, raised a ticket last night if not will have to start grinding again.

Strange that bug was fixed ages ago at least for me anyway suppose it depends on what you using for a controller. You should put in a support ticket explaining your controller setup as they obviously missed yours out of fix.

Got interdicted by a player whilst on a trade run last night, too. And there was me still trying to configure my controls ( finally got my HOTAS inputs to be recognised consistently ) ... was a bit of a shock. After several minutes of sparring, with neither ship sustaining any significant damage I was able to disengage and boost out of the conflict. This took place around the Founder's world system if anyone is absolutely looking for a fight
As time progresses, and players fan out within the galaxy I suspect that the chances of coming across any player controlled ships will fall dramatically.

raised a ticket the other day, might be because I'm chopping and changing between mouse, freetrack and x52, but at least it's going for now.
Loving my Asp, upgraded most of the important bits to A and have a rebuy cost of 1.5million.
Saving now to get a type-9 then I will begin outfitting a fleet of toys for hunting.
Ouch!
How much have you spent on it? I'm about to buy one, but want enough credits to be able to kit it out fairly well as soon as I do.
