Energy drinks

Any energy drink reminds of me of a night out getting smashed.

Only time ill drink an energy drink is if it is called a Jaegar Bomb.

I like energy drinks but I will only drink the sugar free versions.

I like the Pink Bolt from Sainsbury's, Strawberry and Kiwi flavour, sugar free. Otherwise sugar free KX from Tesco.

Only occasionally though when I get bored of drinking water all day.

Powerade is the only thing I'll ever drink, but if I need a serious kick up the arse, I'll have a teeth-rotting Relentless.

never bought one myself. i've drank red bull with vodka but that's about it. this was at a mates house and there was no other mixer. although i like a drink, i can't be drinking vodka neat. it was fun when i was 15 but not any more. :p

edit: when i say fun, i almost killed myself from drinking a pint in one go for a dare... :(

Back in the day red bull + vodka on a Sunday morning to combat the come down. That's about it. These days, I drink enough coffee I don't need energy drinks. Easily five or six cups with two heaped teaspoons of sugar each.

I actually quite like the taste of most energy drinks. I drink them every now and then, I don't drink any other pop with sugar and I don't drink any coffee so it's my sugar/caffiene treat.

The last time I had an energy drink was about 6-8 months ago, use to get a 35p Euro shopper energy drink. Never buying them again or any other energy drink instead I will get a coffee.

Never drunk them for energy. Don't think I've ever had a sugar rush or caffeine buzz from anything, just doesn't seem to affect me. Is that weird?

However I do quite like the taste of Red Bull, saying that I've probably had 3 cans in the last 5 years. The biggest factor for me isn't the flavour or nutrition it is the price.

Worse than normal fizzy drinks which are very bad.
More caffeine and less crap in a coffee and tastes a 1000x better.
Just why.

This. Far too much Sugar in them. One can = that's your daily reccommended intake for the day & then some.

Besides, I like to eat my daily intake of Sugar (trying to cut down as I get older) rather than drink it. :)

I normally get a can of Coca Cola in the morning just before college every day (I'm only in 2 days per week). I used to have a serious problem with the stuff, could have easily got through 2 x 2litre bottles per day. Going to try and cut it completely soon. Going to try having a cuppa instead. Energy drinks give me heart palpitations so i avoid them.

I drink a couple of the big cans of relentless/monster every day and while at work (maybe 5+ a day). Can down one can in like 5 seconds, I try to make it last though.
Doesn't effect me in the slightest I just like the taste.

Used to drink far too many, could go through 24 cans of redbull in a few days (averaging 6 a day) or a 2l bottle of pepsi each day.

Barely drink any now, ill have a can of monster now and again at work when i need it, but usually its juice or diet coke, still not great but a lot better than an energy drink.

The cherry or apple relentless/no fear ones.

Or occasionally a standard monster just for the chemical taste.
