I did not want to, but with all the rain and my commute to the station starting again on Monday, I had to fit some mudguards to my Plug, SKS Raceblades. Not a good look but one that is necessary.
Question is, do I fit the bell from my other commuter?![]()
I don't think they look that bad, although I'm accustomed to seeing guards on every commuter bike! How did you find the fit? How wide are your tyres and why did you choose the raceblades? I'm only asking as I did consider them but after reading some reviews they don't sound like a longer term solution - more for people who want removable guards.

I've not been out since last weekend. Between the weather and work I've just not had it in me. I may get out tomorrow afternoon, but if it's icy I'll give it a miss.
Same here but for different reasons! I'm glad I've missed the high winds, although the temps have not been that bad here or had much rain during my commute times considering everything else - although strong winds are the worst - a good time to be off the bike!

Tomorrow looks good here, dry and bright, although not very warm. Daylight hours look best between 10am - 2pm (kinda expected). Winds are very low (~10mph), temps not going much over 4 degrees only for a short period, but above freezing the rest of the time.
Sunday looks worse - stronger winds are back (although temps higher) because rain is forecast 10am-10pm with the heaviest around 4pm-6pm. They might be fairly localised so you might be lucky and miss them, temps good around 7/8 degrees most of the daylight hours.
