And when you went to the USA for a better job for your Mrs because she can't get one here.
The USA immigration looked in to all your family's history to see if you was good enough for them ;)

Scrapping the barrel now aren't you, just shows your desperation.

Following your beliefs is not being a traitor.

When you join a political party, you join because you agree with the policies and the vision.

Once that changes and there is another party you identify more with, then switching does not equal treachery.

Er, no. If you represent a party, then the party puts money into your campaigns. It supports you in elections. In return, it expects you to support them. Are all these various traitors going to repay that Party largesse? I'll bet not. They only reason anyone has heard of them, and thus stand a chance at getting elected to UKIP, is because of Party support. Which they have repaid as traitors do.

So, what you are saying is, they should stay with the party they was with (Even if they are against say for example wanting to stay in the EU) just because of money?

Is that really what you are saying right now? Really?

I'm curious to see what robgmun or his partner feel about a member of his favoured party using the words "Chinky bird".

It's more funny that the "MASSIVE EXCLUSIVE" for the Daily Mail that after 6 hours is almost half-way down the web-page and not mentioned by any other paper this morning. Seems like they're back peddling furiously, where's the audio? Don't they usually release the 'tapes'? When were these supposed comments made? Which sheep are you voting for in NZ? Is NZ politics so ******* boring you feel you have concern yourself with someone else?

This is tricky as I agree with your point in general but have to ask - who do you think it was that built our railways in the 1800s?

Immigrants? ;) (That had to be the answer in this thread :p )

But sure, private business built the train system, but it's not really comparable to private business doing the same now. There were huge profits in the early years as there was no other competing transport system, the roads were useless, no motor vehicles, canals were very slow and limited to where they could go and mass labour was cheap - and no H&S laws to worry about :p

And it goes to show how silly comments like this are

Proportionally it is very heavily biased. Take for example the Clacton By-election. That night there was a QT episode from Clacton, despite over 60% voted for UKIP the audience was overwhelmingly hostile to Patrick O'Flynn

So you're okay with a kipper using the words "Chinky bird" and other derogatory terms? I ask this in light of you having a partner who is from China and is an immgirant to the UK.

Has he thou? Where's the damning audio? Since when has the likes of you suddenly think the Daily Mail is the bastion of truth?

What are the vetting processes for Question Time (or indeed other TV shows)? You don't necessarily need to have lots of people to make lots of noise if they're sufficiently motivated to do so and it does tend to be people who are most interested who will have applied to attend I'd guess.

Unless you've got some evidence that there was impropriety in the application process for people to be audience members?

Having regularly spent some time with the owner of a local Chinese restaurant he is the most anti-western person on earth and has many choice words for the English.

The Irish did :) over 250,000 came to build it.

Why do people love to hate Russell Brand so much? They complain constantly about the same old politicians coming out with the same canned responses (yes, even Nigel Farage). Now we have someone different (whether good or bad) trying to get involved and immediately people want to show him the door. I think he should be encouraged.

I'm also really not surprised that Brand can't quite debate on the same level. He comes from a very different background than most politicians and probably doesn't have the resource to prepare as many canned responses.

The best on the panel were those that weren't politicians, by far.

He's quite the hypocrite being anti capitalism yet having done so well from it.

If you choose to believe the Daily Mail he has been to those nasty bankers and asked them for money to make a film about himself and also set up a company to invest in the film industry for the sole purpose of tax avoidance.

Well, they've said he has and they've said it on the most widely viewed website in the UK so I imagine there might be something to it.

If it's true will you change your party preference? Or is "chinky bird" okay in your household?

Here is the form you have to fill in.

I can see the conspiracy theorists circling.
