Felt very sorry for myself this weekend. I managed 15mins on the turbo on Saturday, but that was it. Going to take things easy this week I think, and then plough on again next week.
No plans for Christmas, so was planning on riding quite a bit. Hoping the roads will be nice and clear for a Christmas day ride :)

Your Christmas plans sound somewhat like mine. Shame you won't be riding anywhere near Manchester :p

I'm back on the turbo tonight after my rubbish weekend. It will be comical to see how quickly I absolutely die.

Have just replaced a bottom bracket for the first time so hopefully be much quieter tomorrow.

Got up this morning ready to go out for a ride, got dressed, packed for work etc and left the house. Tried to pedal down the road and realised I'd got something very wrong.

I'll see if anyone can guess what I've done before I fess up as it's pretty embarrassing.

Couldn't be much further from you!

I'm sure you'll last longer than the 15mins I did on Saturday :0

Tart said pedals, so I'll go with reattached the crank arms to the wrong sides?

Complete fail week for me.
got a cold (probably from racing in the cold wearing just bibshorts and ss jersey last weekend).

Bit of a fail last week for me too, I'm going to see what the weather (or more importantly the wind) is like this week before I commit to cycling all week... I may get on the turbo in the evenings so I feel I don't *have* to commute unless I have to (safety first, new bike second!)

Got the first issue of the procycling magazine,

bloody hope the free light turns up sharp so I can cancel

what absolute trash.

I had a flick through and thought it was ok, will have a proper good read through this week/next and figure out if I'm going to continue it or not as I've not had my light yet either.

But I did buy one of the lights from ebay a couple of weeks ago and I'm very impressed with it - so when/if they do turn up they're worth the money! :)

Shoulda got the shop to get the plastic disc off from behind the cassette. Nice bike though.

I kinda thought about removing it, but considered keeping it on at least until I was sure the gears are ok (fairly sure now after a couple of rides), so that'll be a weekend job!

Morning commute this morning was good, felt strong but paced myself as roads were wet (still no guards so wet bum!) and I'm kinda taking it easy as I've had a break...

Time is still a good one for me as was carrying twice as much gear as normal. Will see an overall increase in my average speeds as time goes on. Pretty sure my backpack was heavier than my bike (which is so light I'm comparing it to everything, it's lighter than my dog!) :D :p

Just been having a look at the weather forecast for next Saturday.

Good news: It's going to be 7 degrees.
Bad news: Winds are going to be blowing at 24mph.

Hahaha, that is amazing! Did you ride it to see what it's like?! Leg day on bike! xD

Nah, just put it back in the house and drove to work.

Might give it a try when I get home though, before trying to put it back on the right way!

This arrived today

ok, not as fancy as your bikes..

Silly question, but how do you wear yours?

I actually think they are too big, but they fit nice and comfy, arms are long , they reach over my wrists, and the length of my torso and almost at my man hood!
