Breaking News: Hostages taken in Sydney

The conspiracy theorists are out on the videos on Youtube claiming it's all a setup. Their reasoning is because the ADF were practising manoeuvres relating to a hostage siege in October the whole thing is a setup. Like the training in October had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Australia was hosting the G20 a month later in November in a completely different state.... some ****ing people.
Lol some people. Oxygen thieves.

I'm sure their siege training would be a regular occurrence anyway. Like at least once a year.so whichever month they did it in it would be within 6 months of an event happening and therefore perceived as non-coincidential

bitslice, don't you get tired of this anti-Islam, anti-Muslim rhetoric spouting you go for even when it gets you suspended over and over again? Isn't it possible that the person with the utterly warped views is the person doing the spouting?

Your post has nothing to do with the awful events in Australia but everything to do with your need to rant about Islam and Muslims and not only is it tiring but certainly in this context it is offensive, trite and shows a complete disregard for the much greater and immediate matter to hand.

Put them into any country and the same thing happens, in the UK we made 500 of our own despite liberals shoving down our throats we were a happy multicultural society so get used to it. Even in a liberal hipster hashtag attention seekng country like Australia or Sweden you see the same thing.

Come and spend a year here. The locals would kick that idea out of you pretty damn quick.

Australia is not a 'liberal hipster hashtag attention seeking country.' Our current administration is the most conservative Australian government since the 1950s, and was voted in by a landslide.

He has simplified and bigoted views of the real world. My guess would be he hasn't seen a quarter of it. Best not even respond, he's tiresome.

The debate has moved on, I'm following from the previous posts.
What is left to say about this attack ? Nothing

You just want to keep talking about people who have died because they are Australian
What about the people who have died in Pakistan, you'd rather take the pee out of the OP wouldn't you because you don't have their names to post and you don't get to see them on TV

You are full of sanctimonious waffle.

It's the same every time this happens, let's cry over a tiny number of white people and ignore the hundreds from a different culture because we want people to read out sodding hashtags and know that we care.

Stop with the same anti-muslim BS, I'm not, I'm pointing out the flaws that lead to this kind of thing.
I've said nothing that wasn't a fact.

I'm aware that aus is conservative, I'm just mocking the twitter hipsters that crawl out if the woodwork with their hashtags.

So mentalist with a history of violence and abuse, charge for accomplice to murder and dozens for sexual assault and abuse loses appeal and decided to become notorious...

Que 50 page debate over "muzzie" extremists by the usual lot...

He had problems and wanted the notoriety, ignore him and carry on with your lives.

Sounds like the two people who died are true Aussie heroes /salute.

If one died of a heart attack?

Yes, we must ignore his ideology and beliefs as they pose awkward questions.

He has a history of extremism

No one is denying he was going to be locked away for a long time for abuse and murder, but what better way to go out than to follow pattern of your extremist beliefs and shoot up some non-belivers

If one died of a heart attack?

He was white wasn't he? hero,
and we have to shout at anyone who doesn't all join in with how terrible it is to kill white people.

Pakistani children killed by a terrorist?
That doesn't even get a hash tag from magnolia.
Abdullah Ali died btw, if you want a name.

Attention seeking has a strict hierarchy.
Some people's kids just don't make the grade.

Strange, just as type this message, BBC news is reporting a school shooting incident in Pakistan! Well I never.

It's 'Cue'.

And if you want to go there, I notice there's a distinct lack of this Forums usual 'Happy Eid!' brigade here 'not condoning' his actions.

But then if you draw a cartoon of a supposed sky pixie, there's Worldwide outrage and condemnation from certain Religious followers, they're out on the streets protesting about it, but suicide bombings and chopping innocent peoples heads off hardly raises an eyebrow...

If you honestly think Religion had nothing to do with this guy and it was just because he was 'Mentally Ill', then you're the ones with a possible mental problem, he was ideologically blinded by his Religious beliefs, trying to deny this is preposterous in the extreme, if you genuinely cannot see Religion played a huge part in this tragedy (As usual sadly) you are deluded.
