I turned 30 this year and I've been thinking a bit about the way I dress. I have a feeling I should be heading towards more plain attire. Maybe wearing shirts and shoes casually instead of trainers and patterned Tees.

I see older blokes about and feel I'm probably dressing a bit too 20yr old and not enough 30yr old. My wardrobe needs a shakeup.

Time to become smart casual I think :)

What about you guys? Have your tastes changed with age?, or have you made a conscious decision to dress more mature?

At 30 you should be able to fit a clenched fist between your leg and your trousers. If they are too tight for this to be possible, you significantly increase your chances of becoming a paedophile.

Wear what you want. Don't let society, or your perception of those around you, dictate what you should or shouldn't be wearing.

I need new jeans, I'm 40. Finding anything that isn't skinny jean fit is becoming increasingly hard for someone who doesn't have shaved hair on the sides and the huge quiff on top.

Sounds like a haircut would be easier then?

Yeah, don't tend to wear tracksuit bottoms, either jeans or chinos. Still wear trainers when I want.
Also tend to buy smarter looking coats now instead of the superdry type coats, although I still wear them.

I wear what I want as I'm not a little *****.

I think my tastes are in a transition. I was looking at church's brogues this week when I bought some Nike air max lol.

I'll have a clear out of my wardrobe this week and start to move over to being a more well dressed gent :D

I'm not doing it purely because I feel I need to. But I'm starting to have different tastes as I get older and I think now it's time to put it into practice.

My tastes have changed slightly but so has my body shape so I find I look better in a different style now.

Wear whatever you want, F the haters

I find it really strange when people say they cant find a jean cut they want, Levis do about 40bazillion different cuts

I don't really think about, it I tend to just wear what is comfortable and what is to hand.

I hit the big 30 next year but can't see me changing anything really.

T-shirt, cargo trousers, fleece and Merrells for the office.

Jeans and short-sleeved shirt when I dress up to go out.

The short sleeve shirt is my one serious fashion hate. I find them repulsive lol. A long sleeve shirt with the sleeves pulled up looks 100 times better. Maybe try it as an alternative and you will look a lot more smart.

Just wear what you want.

As long as it's not a superdry jacket, skin tight jeans, a burka, a burberry cap, a leather jacket without build, an ill fitting suit, anime t-shirts.

Did I miss anything?

For crying out loud, you're 30, not 60.
