Dressing your age.

I didn't realise wearing what you wanted outside of work painted a picture of your company. I've seen my boss outside of work wearing a hoody and trackies and it didn't make me think any less of him because he wears a suit all day at work.

I did change my dress sense around 16-18 because back then I dressed in pretty mad stuff (metalhead) like custom denim jacket with 50 patches on and all that stuff. But hey I was just a kid and going through a phase even at that age I knew I'd grow out of it.

Since then I just dress in whatever takes my fancy. I quite like Banana republic to be honest as they do pretty smart long sleeved tops - not too casual, not too smart - just ideal for any occasion.
My clothes could look fine on a Sunday trip to the shops or in a 5* restaurant in Vegas - that's just my tastes.

other than that, I like to by NHL tops and nerdy t-shirts from gaming, comic book stuff etc just because I like them and they have meaning to me personally - not interested in what others think of them.
I get loads of looks when I wear my St Louis Blues tops...maybe people just don't know who they are?

I'm 30 next year - 30 isn't an age to change. Most people tend to finalise their fashion sense once they move on from being a teenager but unless you were over the top back then there is little reason to change anything.

I wear everything from steel toecap boots/jeans to brogues/suit and don't care what anyone else thinks.
I shall be getting a kilt next.
Nearly 50 BTW :p
