Nope, Warlock here, but I think I've done every bounty that Eris has had from day 1. Currently halfway to level 3
I can't understand why they simply didn't raise the difficulty level of the VoG and have it drop armour/weapons with the higher stats? Iron Banana armour should be 'raid' quality too. Bin ascendant mats & just have radiant mats drop in raids/events/engrams, as I like the idea that eris can swap them if you have an abundance of one over the other.
You'd have three Max level armour sets with different perks, not everyone would be chasing the same armour & we all wouldn't look the same! In itself it would keep us playing the game as a whole, rather than everyone simply wanting to do Crota.

Totally agree...it's nonsensical in a game that focuses so much on gear and character customisation (shaders etc), to force everyone to wear the same stuff.
Make VoG hard start dropping 330 attack gear and 36 light armour, job done. I quite like the VoG raid armour, especially the helm, but I haven't got it yet and it's utterly useless now if it does drop.

I want a Gjallahorn, that will do me fine from Xur, but an Ice Breaker 2.0 will do too for my missus to have. I am actually settled for exotic armour for all 3 characters - so unless something useful / spectacular look arrives, Xur will just be upgrading my essential exotics.
Assuming this is the Thorn bounty.....yes the new version is pretty good by all accounts. One of the more long winded bounties unfortunately.

It's an amazing gun both PvP and PvE (especially since they added 3 more bullets, more DPS). Reload is slow but if you're a hunter Gunslinger, chain of woe just makes it better every headshot.
PvP essentially a 3-4 body shot killer or 2 headshot, duck/run/hid whilst your enemies die. Also useful for group fights as your lingering damage will likely kill them off.
e: If you reach the point where you need to kill some level 26 or was it level 28 Wizard in the Phogoth mission, give me a shout, I can try and help. Got a hunter working on that to get the 2.0 version rather than pay Xur for an upgrade.

You should be fine doing it solo. Bring forth Fusion rifle like Murmur or Ice Breaker, you'll do fine. I did it with ice breaker (@ level 27) with my brother (level 25) as my reviver. I did in the shrieker room and the room before it when it appears - don't waste your ammo on hordes that rush into room when shreiker appears, they despawn as soon as it despawns. Take it slow and steady

I am at work unfortunately. Got CE to finish tonight so can't help. I am available from 2ish tomorrow afternoon if it helps? My hunter could do with getting some strange coins.
I am 31 and no doubt I can do it on my own, just easier when there are 2 or 3 of you and if multiple people need to do the bounty then it makes sense to all do it together. A couple of people I regularly play with had it though I think one has done it and the other isn't doing it again so might have to do it on my own.
I'm about to do that part of the bounty now. I think pj is also doing the bounty but I don't think he's up to the final part yet.
Quickly knocked off Atheon Hard and Nightfall at lunch. 6 shards for Atheon :| Purifier 330 attack void fusion....would have been nice when VoG was worth doing. Meh.
They really need to sort out this material mess. There's simply no point doing anything other than CE and Nightfall now, maybe a bit of glimmer farming for Xur.

As I said above, the next time I get on will probably be Saturday morning / afternoon time but if all 3 of us need to do it then if you don't mind waiting we might as well all do it together.Hahahahaha.....errrr I mean awwww that rubbish, please wait for me on the thorn bounty.
