I suppose it's down to the area and if you're unlucky enough to have a bad delivery person.
I have never had a problem with citylink, they have been probably the best courier company i have used. They have delivered on time and picked up on time. Never given me any problems unlike Yodel, DPD and TNT!
Probably going bust because they spent more per parcel on actually providing a real service as opposed to yodel, hermes etc.

Lots already are. A lot of consumers are in for a shock over the next few years as the industry gets increasingly competent at volumetric charging.
Shipping in the UK is too cheap. The market needs to change but some carriers will cling on to the cheap end of the market to pander to consumer demands. Most of them will probably end up going pop.
.
Good riddance.
I've had nothing but problems with them and their lazy lie spouting drivers. 3 different delivery locations, every time... No one in. Not only that they lost my Herman miller chair, eventually turned up covered in bird poo, and missing a wheel.
Hurrah the scourge of the delivery world is dead.
It's only getting cheaper, hermes will collect, provide tracking and insurance, and deliver anywhere in the UK including highlands and Islands for £2.99
How they do it I have no idea but I send absolutely everything via hermes now, I also notice more and more commercial deliveries coming via them too. Recent M&S and John Lewis deliveries for example.
Amazing for the consumer if they are making this work somehow![]()
They'll still get a redundancy package, ...oh that's right, they won't
