FIFA 15

I sold up a week back for TOTY, knew it was was too soon.

In a rush of blood i bought Matthaus with my money , there was only 4 available , 2 around 7m , 1 at 6m and 1 at 5m so i bought him , he is really goooood. However i went to sell up (yet again) today to find loads of him available for between 4 and 5m.....ggrrrrr

Going to lose a bit of money on him it looks like.
 
So online seasons is a good way to get my son some money so he can start to build a squad?

I've told him to think of players from the EPL as a starter team, he want's Balotelli but because we only have about 3,000 coins we have no chance of getting him yet. Have to grind grind grind.
 
Do the manager tasks to get you free none profitable Gold pack.

Then grind seasons or tournys. 10games = about 4k coins

Will need 15k for a decent team.

i would go something like

Young- Bony- chamberlain
Tiote-- Gerrard-- Fellini
Shaw-K Toure-Onuoho-rafael
---------hart-----------

Solid team^ which you then can upgrade over time. Or just buy 100k off ebay for £2 and get Balobeast along with other top players. :p

I have just started too. Got a few packs free with the game and hunted out some bargains. My team is mostly based around Arenal, nothing special about the team but have a 90% odd compatibility.

Anyone advise if I'm doing it wrong? Should I be sticking with the lower rating players online or going with the gold cards earlier. Loving the feel of the game this year, got a 433 formation that works well for me.

Won 6 drawn 1 but really shoould have won that as I missed a penalty. Very close games on a few.

Only got one free game because we bought it digital.

From my limited experience you can still grab players on the cheap. I've worked on chemistry and up to 97%. Seems to work well.

The tournaments are good, one of the beginner ones gives you a gold pack. It's boring as hell but it will be good practice for learning your formation and practicing shooting.

Really enjoying it so far. I need three more players to make them 100% all green lines. Put a few make shift players in for the time being.

Isn't that just worth 750coins? I got a 2000coin one.

I think it's more fun to earn your way through playing games rather than buying success but that's just me. I think I would get bored if I had all the super players. Be happy just to collect the Arsenal players with a few changes.

some people are way too addicted to the game, separate the good advice from the bad :p

Still, I do think buying 200k coins for £4 or so to get you started will accelerate the enjoyment of the game though. Just don't starting throwing more and more money at it like some of these chaps *cough*chroniclard*cough* :p

My coin buying was done and dusted by November time. I've had the same 4-6 teams since then. Just varied them depending on how I feel. No warning or anything to date.
 
Has the market crashed? I had almost a complete IF Serie A team, fancied a change and im losing about 30% on what I paid?!

IF Vidal, IF Chiellini, IF Lichsteiner, SIF Tevez etc :(
 
I don't see the point in spending money to boost our team that quickly, I'll just plough through leagues/tournaments and go that route.

With regards contract cards what doe the numbers mean?

I take it the number sin the bronze/silver/gold thing mean how many matches that extends the contract for, but in the web app what does the number in the grey box over the picture mean? I have three contract cards with the numbers 1, 1 & 7 on. Does that mean how many of those cards I have?
 
Market crashed drastically new packs came out and theres lightening rounds today, i rebought 6 Suarez's but regretting it and think ill loose out as i did it a few days ago not knowing about todays packs.

Yep, the numbers on the card reflect the number of matches the contract will extend for depending on the players rating (Gold, Silver, Bronze)

The number in the top right is the amount you have.
