Sky don't do Fastpath, only interleaving which is probably why you're getting slightly lower speeds.

For me, £16.40 Line rental and £10 for Sky Fibre Unlimited @40/10. And full Sky Package including HD and a Multiscreen. All in £26.40.

I get shafted because all I want is an internet connection, it's always been that way. It would work out a lot better value if I had a package that included telephone and TV.
 
£19.99 to Plusnet and £10.09 to Primus (now fuel broadband) per month. Primus line rental was £6.49 when I joined them but has increased several times in just two years.

I was on Primus line rental years ago when I was on O2 broadband.

I never understood all this Sky bundle entertainment family multiroom HD boxset nonsense. I want broadband not TV.

If for combined BB + line rental its expensive. If for BB only its extortionate. I'm paying £10 pcm BB + £16 line rental to Sky (no TV package etc). Its non-fibre but with 15mbps speed its not bad. So £26 in total. Fibre would double the cost of the BB so I don't think its worth it honestly.

I'm paying £100 a month for everything you listed above :confused:
 
I get 30mb with Virgin at around £35 a month.

Apparently I can get out of my contract because the price is going up. Anyone else rang up and got a speed upgrade out of this?

Feel like I should be on 50mb for what I'm paying.

The 100mb Virgin is only £33.50 so it does look like you are getting ripped off!
