obviously the terrorists do believe that it is in the prophets name...
And when you agreed with Freefaller saying we need Muslims to stand up and say "not in our name", what do you exactly expect them to say? Something like what Zoomee said, surely?
So what's your problem? At least be consistent.
This is a fundamental point, it's a belief, and there's room in the religion for multiple beliefs. They are all amorphous contradictions of themselves, so suggesting the religion itself is a problem isn't particularly useful or accurate.

This feels very different to many of the recently reported events. It seems like a well planned, well organised (well funded considering the equipment) surgical strike, not a suicide mission.
Also, from the calmness of the gunmen I have seen in the limited footage available, it points to well trained people, possibly military in origin?
I believe it is unlikely these two guys are simply two nutters who decided to go and kill a load of people. I suspect they have had funding and support from other parties.

To be fair, we get regular intel on threats to police and service personnel. It goes with the territory.
Even though the UK police force is routinely armed, there are a lot of AFOs out there both uniformed or not and a lot more to call on.
I personally wouldn't be armed for love nor money but there you go
I am consistent,I suggest you go back to Zomee's post and re-read.I don't see outright condemnation,but rather more apologies and excuses for a political Ideology that allows for the events that transpired today.
The problem is Islam,plain and simple.It's a backward ideology and has no place in the modern,secular world.
I sincerely hope he's on a watch list somewhere, he consistently comes across as some very young guy who's being radicalized on the net.

I've seen and held one in our armoury that was bought by a Uc in a north east car park for £750.

Do we not live in an era of science and reason? Can we not live good lives based on morals and human decency? Do we need religion, a relic from times long gone by to exist in the 21st century?
All these different religions based on nothing but ancient texts and stories from a time long before science existed to give meaning to things that were little understood and then used to brainwash and control the populous.
Which one of these numerous religions is right, they cant all be surly? It just creates a seizing mass of conflicting ideologies that leads to hatred and death.
Religion should be consigned to history, are people really still this naïve to believe in it, and spill blood in the name of it?

He quite clearly argued that the shooting had no place or grounding in Islam. He called the act "insanity". I don't see how that fails to qualify with the Freefaller post you supported.
In any case, you too have not outright condemned the event, instead favouring to condemn the religion of Islam in every post you have made.
Religion in general has little place in the modern, secular, world.
Problem is once you have one in the EU Schengen area you can transport it around freely to other member states, all I can say is thank goodness the UK is an island and we still at least have the most basic security checks at all ports and airports or I'm sure we'd have had a few such terror attacks on our shores by now.
