About the worst thing we could do would be to treat ALL muslims as if they're extremists, that is exactly what the people committing these atrocities want, they want it to become "us against them" with as many more Muslims feeling that way as possible.
They want it to become a war against their religion as opposed to against the violent minority such as themselves.

Lets be honest, "they" are the arms manufacturers who have been in glee the last few decades and like all businesses, they desire far more than is sustainable.

But military campaigns just aren't common enough to support its vicious needs, so they instead slime their way into civilian life with things such as Full-body scanners, Sonic weapons, Infrared guns and other such things for police forces.

Just good business apparently, especially since people are so predictable...after all that is by an large the definition of economics as a science of the predictable.

because they genuinely believe they are doing the right thing.

they are doing the sane thing someone with their beliefs would do.

Their highest authority has said what the victims did was a crime punishable by death and that they're wicked and deserve to die, and that it is their duty to carry out the sentence and if they do it if they live or die in the attempt/aftermath they will be rewarded with eternal happiness and life.

no different to prison officers, police and executioners in various western societies, they are fighting evil and upholding justice.

except their pension plan is considerably better.

And while the religious leaders of the 99% of decent, peaceful Muslims on this planet refuse to publicly denounce such terrorist acts; they and the people they represent will be thought to tacitly support such atrocities.

This is my thinking, I was raised a Christian and taken to Church and all the usual middle class stuff mums try to do. Yet now looking back i realise i was brainwashed by people who believe in something they cannot prove, And worse they would do things to me in life based on these beliefs. Not quite as totalrian as Islam,Communism but still it has nasty bits in the bible. I remember at school doing the song of the walls of Jerico and all the kids loved that one. When i grew older i realised what was involved in taking the land of milk and honey much bloodshed and the god in the bible is a pretty nasty hate filled bloke with murder on his hands and his followers too.


So i do not consider myself religous, And i do not follow or lend my support to these people based on these values. So when i see someone who calls themselves a peaceful Muslim i laugh at them for not having the courage to say enough is enough.


If there is a God, Me and him will communicate and settle our differences without becoming some sort of cultural gang or whatever these religous folk try to deny themselves as being. So in short there is not a single Muslim on the planet i actually like because they are lending thier support to a totalrian ideaology. And like the other in the same mould, Communism, Nazism it is the duty of every decent person to crush them. Painfully if need be.

Yet millions of Muslims think this is absolutely retarded. So clearly there is something more to it than that.

No this is something quite specific. It's an extremist case and a skewed view on their religion that has brought this, not the basics of Islam.

I as I'm sure a lot of people around the world want to know what drives these minorities to do such things.

Mario Balotelli gets punished by the FA for making jokes about "People of colour" and Jews.

Dave Whelan is banned and fined for making jokes about the Chinese people and Jews.

Anyone who makes and "homourous" jokes about Jews, the bizarrely described "People of colour" or Homosexuals is leapt upon by the righteous but the same standard is not applied to people who ridicule Islam.

Any belief in a supreme being is retarded and should be ridiculed. One standard should be applied to ALL or NONE, including Jews, "People of colour", Homosexuals, etc.

We are all Charlies!

I've certainly been guilty of generalising about religious people, but to say that all Muslims are responsible is just a joke.

It doesn't matter what millions of Muslims think, what matters is what the few hundred thousand jihadis do. They do the things they do because they believe they are better than everyone else, this is drummed into them from an early age in the Mosques and Madrasas.
