Shooting at French Satirical Magazine

I knew some Muslims, yes. These were the 'moderate' sorts that people always talk about, they liked football, didn't make a fuss about their religion and even tolerated my offers to get them bacon butties every other morning. They were good people and I have nothing against them.

However, the big wake up call for me came for me when we got into talking about serious matters and they started to say 'your people' and 'our people'. It was then I realised that even moderate Muslims didn't view themselves as being part of the British nation and that underneath their softly spoken words, they had a great deal of contempt for us.

Tell them to feel free to leave on the first plane heading to somewhere more suitable and to surrender their passport on the way out?

That is what grinds my gears the most when I see Muslims protesting in places like Luton; if it's so bad here, then leave - such hypocrites.

And there it is. Elephant in the room located and correctly indentified as being from the genus Pachydem.

So you'd combat an attack on free speech by limiting the press? Don't you find that a bit at odds with the current situation?

No I don't want to limit them... Id just prefer they didn't antagonise people with half truths and blatant lies.

It's a bit of a silly article really. He says Geordies weren't asked to apologise after what Raoul Moat did, but that's because he didn't do it in the name of Geordies or because he was a Georgie, he had a vendetta against the police. He says Christians weren't asked to apologise after what Anders Breivik did, and that's because he didn't do it in the name of Christianity, or any God.

I don't specifically think Muslims need to apologise for these attacks, but I agree with what Portillo says in the video posted above.

I like Mark Steel, but he is being a bit silly here. I haven't heard anyone call for all Muslims to apologise for these attacks, I have heard people ask for the prominent members of Muslim communities to condemn the attacks - to be fair some have, while others haven't.

Its hopeless asking people to apologise for the attacks, these prominent members are usually funded by the west anyway, so its even more hopeless.

We just need to deal with the fact that we are hated as a society and implement measures to protect ourselves.

Amazing how willing they are to die, but like to hide like cowards. I hope the French police kill both of them.

It would be better for them to survive, if only for the possibility that they may one day achieve greater enlightenment and come to regret their actions. I don't wish death upon them, or anyone, but I would be happy to see them suffer a lifelong burden of guilt.

Indeed, my experience was the same, most of them are only british citizens by name

What's with Hollande doing a press conference... whilst siege of killers and hostage situation continues? Why would he do that unless killers caught?

He wants to appear to be a man of the action to the French people, because his popularity is in the toilet, and Daffy Duck is more likely to win the next election than he is.

Been thinking and reading of Gods promises to the decendants of Ishmael. Could it be that Islam is part of Gods judgement on the world, my eyes are being opened more.
Scary stuff, it is coming. You can not hide from God and His judgement is coming.
