Tbh after years of trying to do that (for other matters) due to my line of work I've given up giving proper answers to people with preconceived ideas. It's not an unreasonable option to take of you know the question is loaded.

Apologies you might be right actually, I couldn't see that xD I was more looking at the top of it and comparing the height to the vehicle next it. Trailer might have a dip to it?

Also APCs can have cannons on them, its not unusual.

But its not important, as it'll never be used, its just a logical protocol to RPG's.

Oh it's certainly just a show of force. There's no imaginable circumstance under which it would be used here. But these pictures are going worldwide - including to places where they might be cheering for the killers, so good to show they're serious.

Out of interest would they use tracks on road surfaces? Could that account for the wheels?

I'm not an expert or even a novice on military vehicles.
