A lot of comdennation there from the Muslim world as well. Lots of plays on the pen being mightier than the sword and diplomacy not violence.

As you say it's extremism we need to counter, not Muslims in general.

Exactly and have even reportedly said they don't kill civilians, no doubt the negotiators are using this point very heavily in the talks.

Im not sure the French forces have handled this very well tbh. They have seemed unprepared for an attack like this from day 1 and just havent recovered.

Anti muslim extremists?

A bit like the far left and far right that essentially fight for the same thing, this thread shows that muslim extremists and anti muslim extremists appear to believe in broadly the same thing. If you're not with us you're part of the problem and we should exterminate/use violence against all those who "oppose" us. Our way is the only way and we will not bow to pressure for change.

Anders Behring Breivik is a prime example of the kind of person I'm talking about. Unfortunately there are several people in this thread who are a bit too close to his ideologies for my liking.

In both cases we should example the causes of this kind of thinking & attempt to prevent future generations from being corrupted by the same kind of idiocy.

I doubt the 90,000 police are all round the print works. They will be spread out all over the major cities, showing a much higher police presence than usual to stop copycats (although that doesn't appear to have worked).
