Shooting at French Satirical Magazine

Wow. I've actually just inadvertently watched the terrorists kill the police officer in the street on YouTube. I thought I was just watching the 2 gunmen firing down the street, they just casually walk up and shoot him in the head. How has this video not been censored on YouTube?

Can someone clarify, as I haven't been paying attention 24 hours ago or so.
Initially they said three attacked the newspaper, and then two brothers have been chased since. The third man named at the time, was named on social media, and following this walked into a police station and was arrested.

Why has this chap not been mentioned since? Was he ruled out? Was he stated to be involved and not mentioned since so it doesn't have any impact on any subsequent court case? Or have they now decided there were two in the shooting, just the brothers?

Quoting myself now.
Can someone clarify? Were there three and one arrested by giving himself up days ago? Just not being mentioned now?

Why should it be? People need to realise the world they live in and not be fostered like children...

It hands a massive propaganda victory to the Islamic terrorists; makes them look strong and the authorities week. People they want to recruit will be drawn to that.

I've read reports that the French had specific warning of an attack on the cartoonists by the Algerian Intelligence Services on the 6th Jan!

If that turns out to be true then it's only going to add to what many would argue was a pretty poorly handled terrorist attack!!

So given the warnings the security services were probably monitoring other threats that they classed as more severe.

That is rather troubling.

I am sure people who are considering taking the path of Jihad will watch that and think, yep, that's good enough for me, I am going to become a jihadist.

We all know the world we live in, we don't need to see it. Things usually get censored to a certain degree, this was not at all.

Then don't watch it? You were watching gunmen in France, what do you think you were going to see, them planting flowers and giving out hugs? They had assault rifles for a reason.

how would you like it if that were a member of your family?

You can't censor what happens in public.

There is also the issue of validating 3rd hand intelligence - the security services get tips, warnings, etc. all the time but they can't go to "defcon 1" every time.
