Best way to clean a motherboard?

+2 but l bought a small 240v inflatable air pump £12 10yrs ago works a treat, beats a air duster hands down, eco friendly as well.:D

This sounds like one the best investments you could make with regards to keeping you machine/components free of dust and something I've never thought of so it shall be my next purchase I think. :D

I've got a pump that came with my inflateable bed (honestly, it's for a bed :) ), is this ok to use? Will save me a couple of quid not using compressed air and my PC needs a damn good clean.

Dude, you're in the same town as me - I've got a 1/2 (ish) empty can of compressed air if you want to try that?

Thanks mate but I've got a can, just never thought about using the electric pump before. For some reason I always thought using an electric pump created more static but I could just be talking rubbish :)

Sorry to go OT but just noticed your sig and we've got the same board & cpu. I can't seem to get my 2600k over 4.4, any chance you could trust me your bios settings so I can see if I can get it to 4.5.

Sure - I actually re-applied it the other day due to changing RAM and still have the settings - will send mine over!
