Shooting at French Satirical Magazine

The foiled attacks would be in the HUNDREDS if your logic was sound and with basic probability many many more would have slipped through the net. Instead we have only dozens of 'claimed' foiled attacks and extremely rare attacks that aren't prevented like we have seen in France.

But hey don't let cold hard facts get in the way of your tarring of EVERY religious person

Where have I tarred every religious person?

Why would you broadcast how many plots of have been foiled?

nope facts are there as already posted:

http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/blog/archives/291

78% of Muslims thought that the publishers of the Danish cartoons of the Prophet Muhammed should be prosecuted, 68% thought those who insulted Islam should be prosecuted and 62% of people disagree that freedom of speech should be allowed even if it insults and offends religious groups.

are you unable to understand how that doesn't necessarily translate into lots of attacks but that that underlying belief, the idea that someone is deserving of punishment for insulting the prophet, is an issue and inevitably clashes with western ideals of freedom of speech

it really isn't hard to understand

I don't get involved in that debate as my knowledge isn't 100% there.

However you seem pretty blinkered on the subject so it's probably best to end this topic in this thread.

To be fair it does raise the potential for incidents of violence to break out if they did show up in numbers whatever the situation given what has gone down.

Then that would have made a mockery of the peaceful gathering, I'd think you'd be surprised how welcoming white people are if Asians turned up for the right reasons

Sure but you can see why they'd be worried as individuals at the possibility of reprisals, etc. it would be a bit late after someone has got hurt to say "well it made a mockery of it didn't it".

Really?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...t-one-million-people-prepare-march-Paris.html

Looking at the photos its seems overwhelmingly white-washed then

Once again a big opportunely again for large groups of asians to show up and support, their presence it notable in their absence

Why would large groups of Asians turn up in the French Protests? (by Asians I assume your referring to Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Indians etc?)

Given the majority of Muslims in France are of North African decent, the act itself was committed by people of North African decent.

Or this just another display of what your actual problem is, Asians....

Not to mention in reality the protests attracted people of all ethnicities which was quite evident in the sky news coverage and interviews, guess some people just see what they want to see.

If the video on LL is anything to go by the guy in the supermarket did have fairly substantial body armour - assuming the fancy plate carrier hes showing off was populated. Partly why it took quite a bit to bring him down.

Oooo nice try in making me out to be a bigot, but as usual you fail, he specifically said ALL COLOURS, i'm pointing out he's wrong. There was like one black guy in all the pictures in that link, and zero that were obviously Asian, doesn't look great in my opinion.

Where are these guys holding placards saying "not in my name"? or "Je Suis Charlie"

Why does marching against terrorism get so stuck in there throats when it's so easy for everyone else to do the same? All it does is foster distrust

google protests illustrate the problem/mentality that muslim leaders should be addressing... problem is plenty of mulsim leaders agree with that mentality
