So annoyed, The gunsmith was selling rare fusions last night at around 11 but I decided to get an early night. Also had my phone on silent so missed my E-mail to tell me they're on sale. I was really annoyed this morning when I got up and had the e-mail but I was far too late.

Yeah, I think it was a whole week before he sold them again. Luckily, I happened to check last night and bought the last two fusions I needed. Did the Nightfall part of the bounty this morning and got myself a shiny new Pocket Infinity to replace my old one

I've got 8 from strike playlists so far, so hopefully with my 3rd character I should get the last 2 tomorrow but I only need 40 vanguard marks. I "Need" to get atleast 1 and then can buy a legendary fusion with vanguard marks.
Then you have the fun part! 200 fusion rifle kills in nightfall. I can't be added with it!
What weapons are people rocking for CE HM? I guess 331 is essential, I'll definitely be using black hammer and gjalla so I'm wondering what primary? I only have one 331 legendary primary, a scout rifle. What's the best vendor one around?

The 200 Nightfall kills is actually pretty simple. I just did a few tours of the Cosmodrome, running through the various instanced areas. In each area, all the mobs are level 30 when you're on the Nightfall mission but as their not darkness zones, you don't get kicked to orbit on death.
I was getting about 60 kills per tour. Took about 40 mins in total.
Going to be going with another nitc (scout rifle), had the badger drop last night but won't have it maxed by Tuesday, but there th wonky 331 legendarys I have. Other will be light of the abyss/ice breaker and 331 rocket launcher/ song of or yut. I assume the perks on the raid weapons for extra damage against hive majors is there for a reason

Anyone up for Xyor on X1? Finally completed the Crucible part of the Thorn bounty. It's a pretty tricky one as a Hunter!
Actually, that's me done it now. Got a random to help out once I got to Phogoth. He kept messaging me telling me to stop shooting Phogoth. Took some convincing before he accepted that we needed to get his health down to make the ships spawn in.
EDIT: What an awesome weapon Thorn is! One of the best sounding weapons that I've used. I miss the Firefly effect of Fatebringer, but I'm looking forward to levelling Thorn up and getting the DoT effect.

Thorn is my bread and butter on PvP. Outside of it, Fatebringer edges it till you play level 30s in PvE. Great gun though.
And yea, when Si, Schnips and I were doing it earlier last week, I was under the impression that the ship spawns regularly once Phagoth was released. Looks like they've changed it to damage on him rather than pre-DLc when the waves just kept coming.

I regularly get that too. This is one of the more extreme examples.
I'm not sure if they've made it that you'll never pair with great players if you're good, to keep it even. I regularly get lower level players - which isn't a problem as most of them are actually quite good.
It's the numpties that runs to their death.
If you can't kill as well, I rather they camp or at least try and not run to their death. It's just fodders feeding the opponents to win.

Primary wise it will depend on requirement but I will probably choose from:
- Venation III Hand cannon with explosive rounds (fatebringer without Arc dmg)
- Monte Carlo (Near limitless flame shields / ability to go invisible)
- Bad Juju (Super re-gens)
- Rapier scout with Firefly
Had a good weekend messing about on different characters. I have now created a Titan on my wife's account just so I can mess about with it (don't want to scrub my second Warlock). Got her up to level 9 and already have a love / hate relationship with the class. I love the melee and Super (running defender at the moment) but, hate the jump.
Should get her to level 20 by the end of the week so the fun can really begin.
I tell you something though, as a level 8 running with two other level 8's, The Devil's Lair is ******* hard! It didn't help that one was clearly AFK the entire strike (got kicked half way through the walker), and the other kept trying to melee EVERYTHING including the Walker itself....
The amount of times I saw "Last guardian standing" was tiresome.
The main issue I found was the inability to do enough damage to Sepkis within a reasonable time frame (bare in mind I was basically soloing this bit). Leaving it too long to take down Sepkis left you open to attack from all of the adds.
"We" did it though. I got a naff sniper and rubbish armour....yay!
Just about to unlock Venus so that should be fun.
Other than that the only other highlights were getting my bad Juju back up to the "Sting of Curses" perk (Nova bombs from the sky
), and maxing my Monte Carlo (limitless flame shields ahoy!). Now I just need to upgrade my two new IB's and GH's.... Should be fun 
Well after 460 hours played, and 3 classes up to level 31 (I can get 2 classes to 32 as I have the shards). I've now hit the wall lol. Time to move on to playing other things I think, I will still play the weekly and nightfall's, and a raid or two, but other than that I have burnt myself out with Destiny. Though for me the best thing about Destiny by far is the community (Ocuk clan are all good lads), So I will still meet up for a laugh.
