From what I can tell, most RBAs are based around the KF anyway or very similar, there is a learning curve with every device before it will give you the best performance.

Having said that, the lemo drop is cheap and easy, heck I've even used it as a dripped the bore on it is rather large.

EDIT: could it be the cotton your using that resulting in dry hits?
 
You know, I just decided to have a play with the kayfun, did a 3mm diameter, 24g, 9 wrap, came out at 0.8 ohms, stuffed the side walls with cotton touching the holes, even stuck a pin into the holes to get the cotton in there, its working alright now actually lol.

Even with the airflow open though full, it feels very restricted after using a dripper. might drill out the centre post and the little air holes in the bottom to get more air flow through it, but yeah its working okay ish now, nothing fantastic. Might just give it to the missus or something :)



But good news! Vapemail :D Mutation X V2 is here!

Freshly machined, literally had shards of metal all over the inside, and some of the air holes wasn't even punched through properly, they came out easy enough though, it looks Superb! Going to get building now :D

Also, jesus Christ, the drip tip is HUGE!
 
Thinking about it, the Squape R is easy due to the ematel base, and the Ubertoot is a doddle. :D

Still fancy a Rose V2 tbh Greg, If I see one come up on UKV I may have it.

Slinxy, yeah the Kayfun base kind of set the bar, most tanks basically copied hte Kf build deck and then tweaked / changed little bits. :)

Except I do a 2.5mm ID coil, usually using .3 or .32mm Kanthal. (pay close attention to the hight of the coil and the amount of cotton. ;)

Perfect everytime.

Fogger has a bit of a steep learning curve, but once you've nailed the build then it vapes like a dream. Get the v4.0, the 4.1/5 are inferior (all my opinion ofcourse ;))
 
Got some Heisenberg, it's nice!

Any order from GVC the last round? My order is still sitting at "Processing". :(

Next thing its up on Ebay.

Gets banned from UKV for being a dick and flipping.

Drama! :D

Sad thing is though if its on the bay it may well go to a Chinese cloner.... :(

Haha, I presume that this atty was machined in very limited numbers then :D
 
God danggggggg this mutation X2 is mental, I shouldn't of tried chain vaping it with a hangover from Saturday night still, almost ended up with my head in the toilet (I get bad hangovers)

Its superb though, it chucks the vapour out like iv never seen before, with that huge chimney drip tip, dang!!!

can see how freshly machined this dripper is, they didn't even clean it lol, had to give it a good scrub

Its dark liquid I use, its a fresh build though, 0.3ohms 24g kanthal, 7 wraps, 3mm diameter.

Got a nice little collection coming along, but not enough devices to vape them on :p gotta wait another 3 weeks till my 4nine mechanical. :(
 
Result

Spoke to my local bricks and mortar vaping store lunchtime about the 30ml of rank tasting vanilla custard I bought on Saturday, they will take it back :)

It really was awful not a hint of vanilla in it at all.

Just had to sit for 15 mins and wrap up a 50m reel of 24g kanthal, I left it on my desk and from the other room I heard a twang, the cat had only gone and knocked it off my desk and the whole thing unravelled.

Lesson learnt don't leave kanthal reels anywhere a nosy cat can reach it!

I never build kayfuns with any less than a 3mm diameter coil in them. 2mm and its dry hits galore but 3 you can shove cotton in there and it just works.
