To confirm that your device has a genunie DNA 40 board, therefore is very likely to be a genunie device. set your wattage down to 1 watts, then let go off the down button. Now hold down the down button and the serial number of the dna board appears with the word genunie.

Great for confirming the device or having a serial number for devices that don't have serial numbers of their own.
 
Handy.. BUT if the chip doesn't go into temp mode when using Ni200, that's a big give away as no clone temp sensing boards out yet...
And what's to stop the clone chips doing the same trick, no different from them having the left/right and stealth mode really.
 
Yeah china are working on a clone and its rumoured that Yihi are also looking into temp control, but as yet nothings released and that link says nothing about temp control, just two of the pictures show it in a supposed temp mode however they look doctored to me... the specs say nothing of it or the different ohm ranges it would yield.

Its only to get the serial number of the chip, incase the mod is lost or stolen :)

I took the atty off to get mine so I can log it on my insurance for gadgets.

Its not that bad tbh, I do prefer buttons but you can change power via the momory settings very quick. Or get one that does have buttons. :)


I dont see the point in cloned DNA boards anymore, back when they were the only thing available yes, but now you have the Sigelei 30/50/100, Smok boxes, IPV's etc. *Notice how I didn't mention Cloupor. ;)



On that subject, I nearly bought a new box earlier, I keep looking at the Sigelei 100W+ or the 50 V2..... :o

Okay todays little projects in the shed.

My old mutation X clone, iv modified it a bit, as you can see in picture 1, the outter shell doesn't fit flush all the way down, so when its attached to a mod it has a gap between it and the mod, now that's fixed as you can see here, I just grinded the lip off it with a angle grinder and fitted huge O-rings inside, its not coming off dispite not having the lip on it now.

I have also domed the inside of it so air flows upwards better, its not the cleanest looking iv ever done but the biggest drill bit I had was blunt as a fart, so was the best I could do, but this part wont be seen when its all together anyway.

Also modified the protank 2 mini's air flow centre pin, drilled it out to 2mm, which is the biggest it can possibly go before the shell falls apart. compaired to a standard protank mini, its got around 60% more air flow now. though I don't use it any more, was just intrested to see if it was possible, but granted its not going to be a sub ohmer :p

Last but not least, my new Mutation X V2 clone, and my old modified mutation X v1 clone which iv nick named shorty and will be going on the 4nine mechanical mod when it arrives, will be one little vaping device :D

Also, my vaping shelf is full, need more space now. might have to nick the missus's makeup dressing table :p

Edit: also, I tried to drill out the kayfun v4's centre post for more airflow, like the S4 kit you can buy for them, it worked but then I dropped it in the shed and it snapped in half. so iv just ordered one for 90p off fast tech :)

Yes it does look very nice, just that I known it will pee me off when it rotate, I have all my iOS devices disabled. Lol. I've seen some vs, flask and hana clones already.. It's the same thing with RBAs people still clone kf, when lemos do a very similar job if not better.

I've got my vapour shark temperature coils today.. :)
 
My GVC has arrived!

Jury is still out on if it is worth the hype, tastes nice but not sure if it is "amazing" just yet.

Tastes better at 20w @ 1Ohm than at 7w @ 1Ohm currently.

I know they come 3 weeks steeped, after trying a few vapes in a dripper I left mine for another 3 weeks before vaping the rest and the difference was monumental!
 
Hi

Does anyone know what the vaporshark kanger temperature coils wicks are made from? I'm trying to work out the maximum temperature I can set the device to... I have it set to 420F at the moment in case they are cotton, its producing a nice warm vape but the temperature protection keeps kicking in.

Just not getting any custard just a slightly sweet vanilla, think I'll let mine steep for a bit then.
 
Started my own mixes last week and have let them steep for 10 days so far. Had s sneaky taste and so far so good!!! think 50-50 is the mix for me now though. Cannot seam to get along with a 70-30 or a 60-40 atm gives me a harsh throat hit at 6mg.

Anyone recommend some other good flavours consentrate's to try? Currently have Granted its custard, capella's vanilla custard, sweet cream, sweet additive, vanilla cupcake, creme deluxe and milkshake base.
 
What i made was.

Vanilla cupcakes, one at 10% flavour and one at 20% to see which i prefer.

Made 1 custard milkshake and that is rather nice.

Then made up 2 seperate custards (my favorite flavour) one with granted its custard and one with capella's custard.

Then used a few randoms, using the custards and creams and sweetners to see what i prefer and made a list of how much i have used flavour etc.

Oh you mean the auto rotate thing? Thats a good thing. :D

Its hte changing settings via the tilt that can be a bit annoying, it works fine, just buttons are frankly quicker. :)

I have an unwanted, unused 50ml bottle of GVC here (100% VG, 18mg nic) through my own stupidity! If anyone wants it at face value then email in trust.

Never tried it before as I always miss it but someone on FB ordered it for me so I should get it tomorrow. Not expecting much and that way I cant be disapointed can I :D

Side note my second rose v2 came today. The lad said he couldnt get on with it and now I know why...its missing the pos post insulator Haha

Hes refunded me £15 to buy one new from eden mods and lee from eden mods sent me one free of charge so its all good. I must say edens andy and lee are very good peoples. Above and beyond as per usual
 
Hey guys, could someone recommend me a tank/eliquid based on my requirements?

- Recently purchased a Kanger iPow2
- Very light smoker (low nicotine content)
- A friend has a KangerTech T3D (1.8O) which I find a bit strong even at 3V (that was on a 18mg liquid with 70%/30%)
