@whyscotty - lol, i removed the plastic. Also I think it wouldn't fit with that plastic.
I almost did that installing the CoolerMaster 120V yesterdayYou'd be surprised how many fell foul of this![]()
Nope, I can't hear pump at all, I thought maybe it should work so silent...
I just hear fans.

It's not so much the case of not knowing there's a plastic firm there, but more of the case of "only started out as checking if the pump would line up properly with the mount, and it was already touching the CPU without realising". So the grain size of thermal paste that was on the CPU ended up on the pump's plastic firm, and I had to remove the firm, and reapply the paste![]()
The last step is to plug the fans into the water block and connect the system’s three cables (SATA for power, fans, and USB cable for the software) into their respective plugs.
@tommybhoy - I'm not sure if I understand you, but pump is powered over usb cable
i have that cable, i forgot about that, it is plugged correctly to MB.
What about the left flat header cable that says "SATA Power"? Have you connected a SATA power cable from your PSU to that?i have that cable, i forgot about that, it is plugged correctly to MB.
