New to this - please recommend

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to this whole thing but trying to seriously cut down on smoking.

I've had the V2 e cigarette for a few months now and it has been great - but doesnt quite give me enough.

I'm aware that there are large devices that will give me a longer battery life and a bigger hit.

Could you guys please recommend a well made device that will give a nice big hit that I can use with nicotine and that has a nice battery life.

The size doesnt matter as I will mainly be using it at home.

Would be willing to spend up to £100 for the right thing.

I can personally reccomend istick with nautilus mini it's so sexy and it been working solidly for 2 days now. £50 via vapeboy.com and the Father Christmas liquid is yummy :).

I'm a noob to it all but from advice here and reviews I'd go with that.
 
I've been told they taste crap. I haven't tried many yet both ones I have being vapeboy's Father Christmas and ciao sicilia!

Obviously this is personal preference but after just 2 days of using this vape I already find the real taste of cigs rather blegh.

Maybe this is flawed thinking but to me it makes sense to not taste like tobacco as that's really what you're trying to get away from.
 
For a tobacco flavour, Id always recommend USA mix, its a nice tobacco flavour.

But, the one that tops that all the time, is RY4, it will stop you smoking, its tobacco caramel and vanilla mixed, its great. Every smoker that's tried my e-cig and expected it to be some blueberry flavour or something, they all are like damn that's well nice and iv got a few people to start vaping :p and they vape ry4 24/7 as do I, have done for 18 months.
 
Where's the best place to buy Kanger coils for the Protank 2? The seller I was using on ebay has gone and the last two places I ordered from sent me fake coils which were rubbish.

TBH, I re-wire my own coils for the PT2.

I was fed up of getting crap heads that I just started doing it myself.

80% better vape, costs £10 for <infinite> number of coils.

This ^ it takes less than 60 seconds to make a protank coil. Which you got regular size or mini? :)

Not sure if the protank's coils are the same size as the mini's iv not watched the video on the big version of protank 2.

But for the mini, its easy peasy, 28g kanthal, 10 wraps, 1.8ohms.

see this here, for making protank coils I use a toothpick/cocktail stick, it fits perfectly. its 1.8mm diameter. then when you have done that, slide some cotton through and chop the ends off :)

Loads of different companies to their own version of RY4, its the most common when it comes to bacco flavor. I picked up a bottle from http://liberty-flights.co.uk/ a few weeks back when it was on offer. it was good (for me) for the first few drags then it got very meh; very quickly... lol but other company
will taste different.

My suggestion would to be try cherry menthol, it rocks. :)

Japanese cotton I got a delivery of today, jesus Christ. its so much better than johnsons cotton pads that you use for wiping a babys arse :p hahaha!
I didn't think it would make much different as cotton is cotton, but Christ does it!!

22g kanthal, got a 0.2ohm 7 wrap 3mm drill bit, build, and pwoarh, it hits like a son of a.
Nice and warm! but..

On the downside, im out of 3mg vg juice. Only got 6-8mg 80% pg juices. my throat is killing me, got dry lips already. hate pg. if my vg juice doesn't arrive tomorrow, argh!
 
Got my 5Pawns Black Flag today - my god the espresso flavour blew my mind. Very strong.

I like coffee but imo that is overkill!

Lol, I'm not Rossi, unfortunately. :D

Yeah Jap cotton is the bomb, didn't like Rayon, felt weird and i thought it felt wrong. Also theres a thread on UKV with lots of people complaining it gave them a bad chest etc....

Nice to see you coming to the VG side and loving it, once you've had heavy VG you cant go back, I dont mind 50/50's but thats my limit, high PG is not my thing. ;)

Subtank Mini is the daddy at the mo if you dont want to rebuild imo.
