That's suicide, Darius eats Gnar, Teemo, Vayne and any other cheese toplane pick alive. He eats everybody alive as 1v1 he is unbeatable.

Unless the Darius is braindead, you will need your jungler to beat him regardless of who you pick.

I've never lost that matchup, and I'm convinced I never will. I've never even been remotely threatened by a Darius as Vayne. How exactly can you hurt me? You physically can't touch me unless you get a gank. Also, how will you deal with the constant harass? No champ in the game can take more than a couple of silver bolts procs (true damage) before needing to recall or pop a potion, and I'm gonna be hitting you constantly since you're melee. I don't see how it's winnable for a Darius since he has no gap closer. Maybe flash hook? That's only going to work if Vayne has no mana for condemn, because condemn + tumble (and later on cutlass/blade) creates enough distance to make you not a threat anymore.

I do feel that should out dual a daruis proving u condem into terrain and dodge the grab. Specially at vaynes 2 item spike just gotta choose the correct trades

Those Darius were bloody awful then, if you find yourself in a cheese lane, you build tanky and sit on your minions, your cheese opponent will soon find themselves taking more damage from your wave than they can do to you, and if Vayne's condemn is not available and Darius lands his E then you're done. I would rather face a Vayne than a Renekton or Aatrox. Darius is the king of top lane, period. If he's left on an island and loses his lane then he's terrible, the only real problem for him is Lissandra, oh and Jayce because he is actually very strong solo unlike ADCs who are purposefully made to be absolute trash early to make up for what they are capable of late game.

Omega, what level do you play at? Scott is a plat player and used to main vayne (not played with him for a while) but as a vayne I can't see a darius surviving him.

Maybe you guys need to do a 1v1 could be fun

Silver 1, Darius vs Vayne is a skill matchup at the worst, he has no solid counters.

I'd be up for a 1v1 :cool:
 
I presume there's some good tutorials for a beginner on YouTube for LoL?

Going to give it a try and stream my impending failures, but want to check out some tuts first. :D

It's hard to say if the Darius' I've played were trash or not, it's around the diamond 5 level I've played the matchup most.

I think so, also if you check the first post you'll see some videos on the basics some may no longer be valid but you should get an idea. Early level play is quite different over level 20 plus and in some ways the ride is fun

There is a tutorial in game as well as coop game just don't get to sucked into coop as it teaches bad habits and try and play as many champs as you can in the learning (pre lev 30) stage.

Note for everyone in here as the interest on ocuk seems to have gone up. The ocuk chat in game is still there if people want to easily connect with other forum members

My money is on the Vayne in that matchup for sure (providing the Vayne isn't incompetent). The only real gap closer that Darius has is his hook which you can easily dance around with tumbles and if he flash hooks you then you can just condemn him away (or flash yourself) and kite him for days.
No matter how tanky you build too you'll just get shredded by true damage silver bolt procs and BoTRK.

I keep meaning to start playing again but there's always some new game that pops up on steam that keeps me occupied recently it seems. Only ended up in Gold 1 last season as I didn't play that much after placement matches, and have yet to do my placements this season.

Still keeping up with the LCS though and looking forward to the world finals being in Europe this year so may have to pick up a ticket when they come out. Some nice hype building around the CLG vs TSM match this week with each manager promising to dye their hair pink if they lose :)
