Hi all,

As above, is there a maximum time limit that the seller has to debit the customers bank account? And after that, if they've not taken the money... That's their loss and nothing can be done about it?

Anyone know?

Thanks!

I remember years ago I had a problem with my website/sagepay and I had sent out loads of orders and no payment had been received. It wasn't even pre authorised so I had to write to everyone and ask them to pay!

Fortunately most people were understanding and paid up but I'm sure I lost a few quid. :(

The honourable thing to do would be to pay. But as you're asking the question, I'm guessing that isn't going to happen.

Not just the "honourable thing". Keeping an item that you knowingly haven't exchanged funds for is fraud, even if it's due to the other parties negligence.

It's a variation of the finders keepers fallacy.
