Yeah sounds good. Already got all the Normal drops for this week but definitely up for it (unless others need to do it for the rewards in which case I'll step back).

I'd fancy having a crack with the sword as well since I haven't done it in a while. After so many raids I feel like I should at least try and get good at it :p
 
I can do a normal or hard CE tonight if anyone is up for it. (Ps4) still need crux if we do hard. Can be lv 32 hunter or 31 maybe 32 Titan. Should be on for 20:00

So.... who's up for a Flawless Raid attempt at some point on Xbox One? :)

I'm in two minds about whether VoG or CE (normal mode, of course). I think I'm leaning towards CE more due to it being much shorter. VoG is fine until someone makes a mistake then we have to do 35 mins of confluxes and templar after a slightly dodgy fall on the jumping puzzle. With CE we can have a hunter or 2 solo the maze, bridge should be fairly easy if we're all lvl 32, hallway we can take slowly. Deathsinger should be ok if we all clear out wizard and shrieker on both sides before all heading left.

Yeah, I'd be up for this. Does anyone know why, when finishing the Abyss and coming out at the Bridge, it sometimes says "Guardian down"? Is this just a meaningless bug or does the game "kill" anyone who doesn't make it out of the Abyss but then instantly revive them at the Bridge? Obviously the former would be best...

I think but could be wrong that everyone has to actually get across the bridge to avoid that "guardian down" bit.

ps I'm still ok for tonight, see you at 20:35:50 not a second before
 
Hey guys! If there are any runs on VoG or CE NM this week on XB1 I'd love to join. Done VoG twice (once with Schnippzle etc.) but never properly run CE.

Have a 31 Warlock and 31 Hunter. Cheers!

I read about this on reddit the other day, can't find the thread again but the popular opinion was that everyone needs to run across at the end and anyone loitering at the start or those who are behind would be killed and revived, like you explained.

It fits in with the lore and story of the abyss section so to me it makes sense.

Yeah, so that'd screw up the Flawless Raider then I'm guessing, making the Hunter solo approach a non-starter.

Recommend VoG over CE - just the fact of the enemy level differences means the only real issues you'll have is the Gorgons (pretty easy just could be out of rotation if you bother with the chests), jump puzzle (we wiped more times than we like here due to just simple mistakes we wouldn't normally do) or Atheon bugs which have pretty much been sorted since we did it - just learn the contingencies and don't do what I've seen many do and rush to kill him when he's on low health when another portal run won't be that much of an inconvenience.

Having what is a slightly longer raid run just won't matter in the long term if it reduces wipes due to enemies actually killing you which is still a real possibility in CE NM

Ready to take him down tonight, got to the dizzy heights of 20 heavy ammo synths. Also done NM Crota on my two 32's so can bring either the Titan (Bubble) or Warlock (orb gen) depending on whats is required for the run :D

You won't need 20 heavy synths. We'll down him after a few attempts, trust me :cool:

I need your titan, with blessing of light (45 sec duration) - to be placed on the south west circle to draw aggro from the boomers. I'll explain the strat tonight over comms. Much easier than here.
