Meet AMD's Radeon R9 300 Gang

Wow, just Wow!!! I just perused an auction site and seen how much the Titans are selling for

I could sell my 3 and buy 4 x 290X 8GB from OcUK and still have enough left to get trollied :D

I really can't quite understand how they are still selling that high?! Guess must be because they were so crazily priced to begin with, so no one is willing to let them drop below a certain point. Good time to sell though, before next Titan comes out. Prices will crash then surely.

I would need to get trollied when I notice that AMD is in my pride and joy :D

Must be that they are awesome cards and do a fantastic job.

Even secondhand 780's are selling for silly money at auction. In some cases more than what I paid for mine secondhand on members market.

Dont the titans hold a high resale value due to their excellent performance as workstation cards compared to quadro/firepro cards which are even higher priced than titans ever were?

That's what I was thinking. They have greater compute performance over the 780ti, for example.

Im looking forward to the 390x and proper nvidia gm200 chips.. The current lineup in the 900 series is a fat joke to me. The performance increase of the 980 is way to small for the premium they ask over the 780 and the 290x. But from a business standpoint where money is the most important thing i understand why things are done the way it is. The Titans have yet to battle but im sure gonna buy frontrow seats to the 390x vs Whatever GM200.. Its going to be interesting.

PS: The only thing that could make me interested in the 380x and its little brother would be if the price was low enough..like equal to the current 290/290x and overtime lower and i dont think thats gonna happen

All it says is some people need there heads checked lol but in all seriousness the 290x might have been a lot older than the 970. Just to balance this out i just seen a 290 non x Tri-x go for £170.
