BF Hardline - AMD cards getting panned (not by much)

Avr 50 FPS in Dust Bowl? how is that even possible? i run a 290 and the lowest Frame rates i get are 75 FPS @ 1440P with maxed out settings, Avr is about 90 - 100 FPS.

The performance of BFH is significantly better than BF4.

Here how my run on Bank job played - Frame rate could be much better, I noticed with the game the CPU was getting bad performance resulting in lower frame rate!

Shanks look at your Frame Rates, they are almost never under 120 FPS, sometimes as high as 150 FPS. (And thats with the recording performance hit)

[H] often make some very good reviews, but there are times when there reviews are utter nonsense, this is clearly one of those. i think it depends on whose doing the review.

@ Gregster, you don't have a 290, you don't know what the performance is and how smooth this game run's.

look at Shankly Youtube for a reality check, he has a 290, so do i. on this occasion [H] are way off the mark.
 

I just watched this in 1080P 60fps and that is seriously stuttering and jerking badly. No way I could play like that.

People have a right to judge a betas performance, but its not wise to judge release performance based on it because i have even seen performance gone from great to bad.
 
Yeah you can judge it if you want, but it is utterly pointless

- no drivers from either AMD/nvidia to get the best from the GPU's
- the game itself is obviously not ready otherwise we would be playing the final version instead....
- afaik, not all of the graphics/textures are included i.e. like what we had with bf 3 and 4 beta's

etc.
 
the beta actually played very well. fps was pretty great all way through and in conquest it was fine. which is the real test in bf with 64 people on.

i would say the performance in the beta was as good as bf4 if not better.

Yet I'm sure I've seen you link or comment on youtube videos for BF4 mantle trying to show how good it is.

You're one of the biggest hypocrites in this section.
 
I tried the beta on my overclocked 7950. The game felt very smooth and was between 55-60 fps most of the time on ultra settings. The frame times looked pretty decent in MSI afterburner so can't complain.

Maybe it does get bad on higher resolution but who knows whats happening with a beta version. There could be a number of reasons for the higher frame times including server pings, etc I wouldn't base my buying decisions on just one game thats for sure.

Frame Rates are the big Green numbers in the top right hand corner, Youtube can't really distort that now can it?
