Seriously tempted to trade in my old original 3DS and get the XL + Zelda! Not really played Zelda games before but that gold one looks sweet!
 
I've just received news that my copy of Monster hunter is awaiting me at home, I'm so excited to play since the demo is amazing. I cant wait to play with my friends on Wi-Fi as well, does anyone else play monster hunter here?

I've played the demo once - I like it a lot - but I need to play it some more to warrant buying it. My problem is that I've loaded up on games so I like a kid in a sweet shop atm - I don't know where to start.
 
How the **** have royal mail had my package since the 11th and apparently won't even arrive tomorrow. Sigh

Also Nintendo only allowing the choice of 'Standard' Delivery on pre orders is ****ing infuriating
 
My New 3DS XL was delivered on Wednesday and I must say overall I am impressed, but there are some niggles. It feels like the build quality has taken a step back, it's certainly no beautifully crafted product.

The hinge on mine wobbles (could just be mine?) and the cut outs for the X, Y, A and B buttons look a bit shoddy. And for some reason they already looked marked, despite very little use.

Also, the game cartridges don't seem to hold in very well. Already I've had two occasions where the game has stopped on me because the connection wasn't met (despite the cartridge not moving). I think the way I hold the console is having an effect here, since I wrap my finger around the bottom, maybe it's me.

Could just be that mine is borked?

Loving Majora's Mask though. Still think the 3D is a gimmick, despite the improvements. Still gives me a headache after a few minutes.

Maybe because I'm in N.I. either way its a joke, if I ordered the console now on their site it would actually arrive tomorrow as I'd have the choice of next day....

EDIT: In fact they dispatched my collector's edition of the game a day later and its just arrived.

anyone know how many blocks i need to downlaod and install monster hunter 4? i dont think i have an SD in my 3ds xl, just standard, but currently no games downloaded to it

Just picked my new XL up, about to do transfer then an afternoon of MH4. The work I need to do can wait until tomorrow!
