It feels like I've experienced the best and worst of the game this week;

Worst -

Seeing various cmdrs melting people inside the station, combat logging and just general fail behaviour,

Seeing the vids on failnuts's youtube channel.

Seeing the endless threads on the frontier forums of upset people who've lost so much to these exploiters,

Best -

The serious all-out brawl I had with Dareth earlier, the pure excitement of digging into the biggest payout in PVP in the game right now and managing to get ahead.. albeit - couldn't finish it off, but he's a pretty serious player with a good reputation, so it was good to have the encounter.

being interdicted about 6-7 times earlier and nailing every single one of them, either getting the kill or sending them for the hills - and even still exchanging good comms.

Sitting outside LHS 3447 just watching CMDRs come in and out, for at least 10 of them to come over, fly around my Anaconda and ask question and just generally be nice,

I really hope this game doesn't die, because when it's good - it's REALLY REALLY good...

On a side-note, if anyone notices that community goal to fight at the conflict zone in BD+03 2338 in return for combat bonds - you might want to holdoff a little, I just flew 230LY to check it out, to discover a load of board CMDRs sat around with no NPCs to shoot - so it's either bugged/over/about to start, but it is a long haul.

Yeah it's been good tonight, plenty of drama around Yembo that's for sure.

On a side note, somebody was posting on the forums earlier about somebody in an Anaconda, at in LHS 3447 Dalton gateway (or one of the starter stations) killing everything inside, I wonder who it might be.. it so badly needs fixing, I think I'd be more than annoyed if I'd just spent £30 on the game and I can't even learn the ropes without being blown up.

I was there tonight and saw it in the station getting the treatment from the station :D
Wasn't doing much other than sitting in the corner getting attacked mind.

i then just went about my business, i guess i got away quite lucky, as I'm running without shields at the moment.

Got in a solid hour or so last night after work. I was wondering for those in much larger ships how did you get the money for them? As far as I can tell bounty hunting is not the answer.

Got interdicted by an Anaconda NPC last night, queue about 25 mins of dogfighting for a glorious bounty :)

I got my Anaconda from many many hours of trading. I started off doing bounty hunting and tons of missions, which I still do but then fancied a Python but was not even 10% close in money to have it, So I worked my way up to a T6 and found a nice trade route and kept going back and forth. Lots of hours and still enjoyable but with the odd spate of "arghhhhhhhhh, this is driving me nuts" but worth it in the end.

Looking forward to a day mostly with this today.

Finally get a feel for my adder and hopefully get some decent upgrades on it. Had it for about two weeks and had no time on it, so still just got one cannon mounted as couldn't afford 2nd at time of purchase :)

Need to clock my primary card a bit though to make up for no crossfire support in game.

Been the same for me and now I have just finished my last shift at work and time for 14 days of R&R :D

Tri-SLI Titans working a treat here and sitting around 200+ frames at 1440P max setings :p

I feel like I should have done this pre 1.1 - feedback seems to be space is more aggressive and money is slower :(

Man I miss the Seeking Luxuries :( :p

Easy money

I never figured out how those worked, I reckoned they were like wedding/funeral ships. Kill if you wanted. By the time I realised you could sell to em, 1.1 :(

Well, aren't you just rubbing it in today :D

I'd almost literally kill for 14 days R&R.

I'd do slightly less for crossfire to work in the game :D

I might scale down and go PVPing in an Eagle/sidewinder later, lots of fun picking out players in bigger ships, and hardly any penalty when it goes wrong, or I might try the community combat-zone I flew to, to see if it's now fixed..

or I should maybe study all day..... ;_;

What's the best strategy for getting away unscathed when you get interdicted by a NPC in solo play? (in the basic Sidewinder btw)

I've a real beginner with this and am just getting used to basic flight taking the odd bit of cargo here and there and so far am absolutely rubbish at combat!

I know I need to do it more to get better but I'd rather build up a few credit first!

All pips to sys/eng. None to weapons.

Charge FSD

Disable flight assist. Roll heavily and turn a little and watch yourself corkscrew thru space.

When FSD is charge enable flight mode and aim to esc vector.
