Big congrats boys, quite an achievement!!

If anyone is around Sunday evening for a hard run I'd love to join/get one set up, got everything I need to get my warlock to 32 now, just need to unlock the upgrades and net the shards.

Also have the NM Deathsinger CP on my hunter if anyone is around tonight and fancies finishing it off?

Schnippzle - Cheers for the run last night, was great, I'm still smarting over my buddy getting his Jelly! :p:D

Oh yeah, I forgot about the lamp! I'm glad that 3 of the 5 deaths happened in the first section though rather than later into the runs. Even then, with it only taking 30 mins to do from start to finish, it feels more like a strike now rather than a raid.

Ha, he got another one from the Nightfall the other day too! No doubt it was also melted down into a shard :D

To be fair, I'd probably do the same. It's too much effort/cost to max out multiples of the same weapon. My Gjallarhorn never really gets used anymore anyway - Hunger of Crota is good enough and doesn't use up the exotic slot.

Lol! I do love my HoC, I think it's just a running joke about the GH now. Was actually pleased that SPK got the GH, he's having no luck with armor where as I've got all I need for the warlock and most of what I need for the hunter.
 
Hunger of Crota is becoming the Fatebringer of CE. Just won't flipping drop!

Please RNG. Warlock boots and HoC that's all I ask :rolleyes:

Bungie's QA issues aren't my fault :p Stupid platform just disappeared from under me before I could jump in the hole!

I don't think I'm likely to be around much this weekend to finish off that hard mode but feel free to find a sub, I don't need anything more from Crota now anyway :)

I've got lucky with RNG this time round.

Full set of Raid armor including helmet on all 3 characters, and all the raid weapons. I've since maxed all of these out and have all weapons at 331 and all armor at 36 light. Managed to get all 3 helmets within the second week of them being added to the drop table on normal mode. 1 on the first week, other 2 on the 2nd week.

I got the 2 non crota primary weapons on my first week and the other 2 on my 1st and 2nd crota clear. Some have speculated that the drops go better if you have all your raid gear on one character, so the drop can priortize better what you don't have. By any chance do you take every raid weapon with you when you go on a raid ?

also, do you know that hunger will only drop when killing crota on normal ? its not in any other drop table.

I am mate. Could always start fresh or continue from the Deathsinger. I'll message Wardy and see if he's about and maybe get the rest of the group together we tried it with on Tuesday, minus Dan as he's had his allotted week day Destiny time this week! :p

I actually tend to bring my best weapons (including the Raid ones) with me for every run. I'm one of those people that transfers all of his best equipment onto his active character even if only planning on doing ROC strikes. OCD much :rolleyes:

I've had 4 Black Hammers, 3 Songs and 2 LOTAs and Swordbreaker (but it's a shotgun so instant shard) from normal, pretty much everything else but HoC. I usually always carry one of each. My Hard drops have been very good. I got all of the primaries within a few weeks. At the minute I think I have 5 Fangs, 3 Words, 3 Defiants, 2 Edicts, also got the Crux fairly early on. Again, I always carry one of each with me. Reminds me of my VoG days when I ended up with everything except Fatebringer and VM :p

My Hunter had 3 armour pieces before Hard was even released, then got the helmet from the first Hard run. Titan soon after. My Warlock finally got some armour drops two weeks ago but I'm still missing the boots and helm.

Shouldn't be moaning really, but after getting multiple Praedyths, VoC and Hazens from VoG and never getting what I most wanted, I fear this is heading the same way!

EDIT: KWJay - Can't get any more normal rewards this week sadly, but if you get stuck for numbers I'll hop on :)

Should have said this earlier, congrats to Si. for taking down Crota in 2 swords last night after claiming to be useless with it!! Great work!

(And once the group had its rocket-firing coordinated! :D)

Sweet. Not heard back from anyone yet Write so we'll more than likely be short so if anyone else is on and needs to do it lets make it happen! We nearly had it on Tuesday, just forgot a vital move for taking down the Deathsinger.
