Well this just landed in my hands today. . .

Vaporshark rDNA 1:1 Clone

Oh boy what a beauty this is. Absolutely stunning. Been patiently waiting for this for a while now.

Can't get over how small this is for a 18650 device.

Excellent quality inside and out.

Pictures below are of the actual clone taken from my photography studio. Not bad for clone eh? ;)

Pretty darn sweet!

With box mods I'm all about the chips and wiring. They all look pretty much the same. Only thing that matters is that it use 'real' internals and it is safe. To be fair the above clone does look well finished.

It looks better than my real Rdna 40 lol..
But yeah when it comes to electric mods, I prefer the authentic.. Mech mods, RTA, RDAs and even clearos; I don't mind..

I saw an idiot on YouTube (the towel dude), using temperture control on a clone hana saying it's working really well whilst on kanthal.. Kanthal doesn't have heat related ohm creep like nickel does, so god knows how that chip is monitoring the temperture, as he sat there vaping at 600f lol..

The chip inside is an exact replica of the real thing.

So it's no different. They spent a lot of time and effort to make sure it was perfect.

;)

love the look of the rdna. where did you purchase said box?

have you tested the volt output and what not?

Voltage seems to be working fine as it should. No problems to report.

£80 for the clone vs £150 for the authentic.

No offensive, I would fork out the extra £10 and get an authentic dna30..
I know vw clones fail rate aren't as high as people makes them out to be but better safe than sorry :)

That's what i just switched to from MVP2/istick 20W and nautilus mini. £40 for the new istick 50w and £24 for the subtank mini so basically a fiver more than i paid for the original MVP2+nautilus mini... yet it's SO much better. I can actually taste my juices again and the clouds!

I don't think i could recommend the old isticks and the old tanks to anyone just starting now. I enjoyed my old setup for ages but this new one leaves it in the dust and costs almost the same. Probably still not as good as most of you guys' exotic setups but i'm loving it.

Reliable place to buy these?

Need to upgrade my battery and nautilus mini too.

So there are 1.2 Ohm and 0.5 ohm heads for the subtank mini.........which ones should I be getting as spares.....

1.2 is considered the normal for this tank, while 0.5 are the ones for the massive clouds, at the cost of battery life. It's personal preference, the coils last and age in this tank so yeah don't worry about it until you get the mod and try them both. I only use the 0.5 ones as I have other tanks that will do 1.2 :)

Don't forget that you can build your own coils with the RDA part, and the factory ones look very easy to rebuild. If your using it on the istick; DO NOT get the temperature control coils.

On another note, I'm looking for a tank for the microstick. maximum diameter 16.5mm and needs a 510 connector. I'm getting a tank system but it doesn't look like my cup of tea.

Guys!

Need some help with drip tips, well not help but recommendations.

I got a vapemail today of this drip tip

Its the style of drip tip, rip trippers uses, Christ its awful I don't like it, it makes a right racket and the flavour isn't as good, and don't like the rounded feel on my lips.

The drip tip I use is the kayfun 4 driptip, use it in all my drippers etc, its wide bore (edit: wide bore compaired to a standard 510 drip tip, its 6.5mm straight through not 5mm straight through), I don't know theres just something about it I like,

But I want to find a decent wide bore and decent looking tip haha!

So any suggestions?

Cheers :)

I prefer the Delrin/PTFE/POM etc types, dont like metal drip tips, too cold and feels harsh.

My fave's are the one on the UTA and this:

These are similar:

These are nice too:

EDIT:

I think the one Rip likes is similar to this: http://www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/epage...Path=/Shops/yxve46fvrnud/Products/CVDT-CC-BLK

Also, the KF4 drip tip isn't wide bore. :p

Haha, well from the "small" so to speak 510 drip tips that I own, the kf4 drip tips the widest bored out one iv got all the way through that is compaired to a regular 510 tip.

I like straight through tips, not ones that are narrower at the base then expand out, like say the dome style tip I linked in post above.

I dno, theres sommat about the wide tips I don't like, I mean iv got a POM tip for my mutation x2, actual pom fitting, not pom then 510. don't really like it to be honest.
maybe Ill like it once I go lower than 0.2 ohms, but its a overkill, not enough vapour coming out yet to need that size.

I like the feeling when the vapour goes straight through rather than narrow at one end then wider at another or vice versa.

Also im a sucker for my stainless steel tips, don't like plastic feels nasty :p

Is that pom 510 tip wider at the top than the bottom though? would be just like that dome style tip im guessing, I don't know I just cant gel with it.

But, I was thinking of the plume veil tip, its wide bore but again its not straight through like what I like, but it does look trick

https://www.fasttech.com/product/1806701

that tip looks 6.5mm one end, and around 10mm other, I guess I could get it and drill the bottom out as much as it can go though so its more of a smooth bore straight through

like now, iv just tried the pom mutation x v2 tip, its not warm and smooth flowing into my mouth like the smooth straight through feeling I get from the kayfun v4 tip.
the ball styled tip, its same feeling as the pom mxv2 tip.

like, I like the feeling of the small bored out drip tips that are 5mm wide straight through but there not nearly wide enough to cool the vape at 0.2ohm, but the kayfun v4 tip is 6.5mm wide all the way through, it does the job well.

the ball styled tip is 6.5mm one end, 11mm other end, the mxv2 pom is 11mm one end, 18mm the other. they both feel exactly the same to me the vapour to mouth wise, it doesn't feel like its being directed smoothly into the mouth

POM is not a connector, it's a material.

I really think you're over complicating this, they're about 50p each. Just buy ten different drip tips from FT and pick your favourite!

Ah...

Well, theres me made to look like a noob :p

I just noticed that when a RDA says a POM drip tip fitting not 510, it had a wide pom drip tip like my mutation x v2

see this here this is what I meant
https://www.fasttech.com/p/2123906

stupid fasttech lol

That's the one that Iv got for my mutation x v2, but I use the adapter and the kayfun v4 tip, don't like the pom wide one, might be because its narrower at one end than the other like I said, I like straight through bored tips.

Though iv measured it up, and I could widen the bottom, and Iv got one spare so I might do it this weekend and see what its like then :)

and see these links where it says pom fitting not 510
https://www.fasttech.com/p/2014003

That's the mxv2 I use, also got that vertex on the way, but wish id gone for a 510 top cap now, as the wide top to 510 adapter looks bit daft sat there. but iv got some spare, gonna sand em down so it looks more flush.
