If you love the first season, second one is coming ! I hope season 2 will have more naval combat. Season 1 was full of politics, betrayals and sex.

Really? Each to their own I suppose, but it is completely unnecessary. They've just added it to tick some 'PC' box IMHO.

Decided to catch up the few episodes after abandoning it few episodes ago.

Borefest, season 2 has skipped on nudity big time compared to season 1.

Some scenes are nice but too much involved drama I may just keep it as background static watching

Just finished the second season and can safely say I enjoyed it much more than the first season. You could tell from the first season it had potential but was very slow going and ponderous. This season has done a lot more with tension, set pieces and bringing the British into it much more.

Kind of binge watched the second season over the last week or so. Really enjoyed it. The Cpt Flint revelation was a little odd, but okay.

It's also always kinda fun to see two arch enemies, both very powerful people, team up to defeat a common foe. Will be interesting to see what happens with that in Season 3.

Interesting to see how Silver lost his leg too.
