Fair play. Don't have to tell me buying new stuff is great, I've had to stay clear of hukd for a while to try stop spending.
Oh, I go on there today and now I'm looking at a Sony Bravia KDL-50W829B. Mmm do I hit that confirm purchase button......

As soon as the new top end nvidia cards are out boom will have one.
And then they'll be the best thing since sliced bread.

Yes bored of it all, want new toys to play with. It does feel great. Not just PC stuff, I do like to treat myself to nice things. If you're interested I picked up some lovely trainers in town on Saturday, along with a New 3DS XL Zelda edition.. Um what else? Oh yeah a 32" 1440P BenQ monitor not to long ago, few games for PS4 and Xbox One.. I'm worth it haha.
You don't want to know how much I spend on the kids (; not proud of spoiling them but can't help it. Want them to have things I didn't growing up..

Very possible, whichever is best 390X / GM200 I will get. The next card down for the kids PC.
I would hope so, else what incentive would there be to buy a new one
Not being in a particular fanboy camp leaves you open to attack from all sides lol.
I will buy whichever is best, and obviously I would think it's best else why would I buy it?! Duh !!

I actually can't wait for this AMD release, hope it's soon though! Still rocking this 580, which to be fair is a cracking card! Bloody massive though being a 3 slotter! Bendy wendy!

Wooo! What a lovely pair of trainers you have
i'm the same i spend a fortune on other stuff too.. as far as i'm concerned 600 quid on a GPU seems ok, because i spent twice that on a new push bike yesterday..
if i want something i'll buy it and if i cant quite afford it ( which is virtually never) then i'll do Overtime.
You dont need much money to build a 1080p rig, but you do if you get addicted to it...........and that's this forum, it suckers you in, hook line and sinker.

it's a buy buy buy culture, i know i shouldn't but i've got my eye on the In-Win D Frame
and once i've noticed something i have to have it.it's about the addiction to buying stuff.... it happens to be PC all the time because that's our hobby.
i was playing Dieing Light last night and i thought, ``flipping heck this game looks great and the TVs excellent....good, no need to replace this yet``
but i looked at the pc and thought ``uuum, i'm not sure about that IN-WIN 707, i'm going to get it custom resprayed, save it for next year and buy the D-Frame as well``
i dont need to do anything really, i'm just bored waiting for the new cards
i'd search for the last of the Panny Plasmas, i saw a GT50 for 1000 quid

i dont suggest this MONSTER because it's damned expensive but it'll destroy any LED.
you wont see a replacement tv for this for another 2 years at least....it could be anything, my money is on front projected Laser, because i think OLED will die out...
the tv industry is in turmoil right now, it's all up in the air, with everyone relying on 4K LED, which always will be 2nd rate in comparison to a reference Plasma.
the LED has faults that can not be corrected and OLED looks similar too

the Pioneer Kuro was the best, the Panny VT is about the same, damn i want it now, i have the 55'' version but the extra 10'' makes a massive difference
