I know right, I am @ 20w now on a .4ohm single coil. I don't think I have had a build I could go over 50w on yet and probably never will.
It really is a revelation though, having so much control now; now I understand the Provari freaks after all this time. They used to bug me with their, "Oh this juice comes out best at so many watts." :D

Guys my new subohm tank is great looking but im finding it a bit harsh. I can pull the smoke in, throat hit is too much and my lungs tighten up abit, then i start wheezing? Get a slight headache too. Im using the 0.5ohm coil at 20w. The e liquid nicotine strength is 12mg.
Im ok with the pro tank 2, 2.2 ohms 3.6v with same e liquid. What shall i do? Shall i try the 1.2 ohm coil?

Thanks

I try not to mix my lemo with RIP. He is the clown I watched vaping it at 30+ watts with 80+Vg juice and basically miss-sold it to me!.

I really have only one last try to do and that is go for the kayfun style less is more route as I have tried every diameter of coil, organic and muji cotton as well as trying 'thick' wicking.

just bought myself the Sigelei 150w box mod and my first ever rba dripper. the box mod is great but i seem to be a tad disappointed in the dripper compared to my atlantis sub ohm tank in terms of flavor and the amount of vape unless i just built it wrong, which is a stong possibility

Lower your nic. strength, try 6mg as you're getting more in your system with each puff.

I'd try a higher vg ratio, 50/50 vg-pg at minimum @ .6mg nicotine. Should solve the throat hit and headache.

What dripper/build etc?

Its a clone of the 50w version of the SX300. Focalecig have the good ones. I'm trying to find one here.

There's an authentic version, there's a massive waiting list but the buttons are on the top.

Sorry it was a bit of a tong and cheek comment about RIP.

Alright fellas a few questions for you.

I ave a kanger aerotank mini and the thing in the middle gave out last night. It came with a spare one and I've whacked that in and it's working but it's only lasted me a month or so, are these the atomizer things or the clearomiser or what? I found this on Amazon which sort of looks similar but not quite and it seems to be some sort of generic thing, would this work?

I also have an Nautilus mini which I've gone off now as it seems a bit unwieldy compared to the other one plus I've been use that to sample flavours and it seems to be a bit gross now with a menthol one in it and then that Digby's apple and cinnamon juice in, what do you do in between changing flavours? I know you can wash it out or whatever but if it's cotton soaking it up in the middle then there's not really much you can do about that is there other than changing the whole ting out and I'm not sure I wanna do that every time.

Do you think id have the same issue on a 1.2ohm coil? The e liquid i use has 50/50 pg/vg ratio

Basically the more PG in your mix the harsher the throat hit. If you have a juice you love which is 50/50 but hitting your throat hard then lower the nicotine and/or the Wattage you vape at.

coils are designed to work with certain makes and models of tanks, generally the lower the ohm the more heat it will produce and the vaper you will get BUT certain tanks models can only handle certain ohms, as the design of them will not allow the ejuice to wick fast enough causing dry hits. More importantly your battery device will only support a range of ohms, firing lower ohms can cause the battery to meltdown. There are 3rd party ones that are cheaper, it's pot luck if they work well or not.

As for changing flavors, you can wash it out then dry burn it, not something you can do with cotton or just let it dry overnight. What I tend to do is just flush it out with the new juice, the new flavor starts to come in about a quarter of the tank down.

It is worth remembering that everything vaping related is a consumable and will need replacing at some time. Only thing that you might never replace is some of the better atomisers and 'mods' (read battery cases) Juice, coils and batteries all have life spans. Most coils only last a couple weeks at most at best but you can run them for maybe a month but they will be past it really.

It is something you have to get your head around, I'm not sure why but buying cigs never seemed as expensive as buy new coils, make no sense as 5 coils which will last 5-10 weeks is the same as one 20 deck of cigs.

Cheers for the replies regarding the Lemo, glad I'm not the only one having issues with it! Although it's still performing decently at 20W with a 0.7ohm coil, I guess I was expecting more after using the Billow.

I'll keep trying with it, after this tank is used up my plan is to use a thicker wick but will make sure I 'fold' it down into the juice well, and will also make sure I can see some light coming through the juice channels so they won't get blocked. Pretty much the same thing I did last time but with a thicker wick.

Oh, and I love my Sigelei 150W!

Personally I think people faff to much, I rewick once or twice a week depending on what juice I'm vaping, I've had the same coil @ .7 ohm(ribbon not sure on spec)in my spheroid for well over 6 months. Same with my gennies just swap out the mesh or give it a rinse and slip it back in. ;)

I want to buy a vaporiser for my mate as a gift, so I want to get him something better than a basic pen kit. Something with volt and watt control. I currently use the itaste mvp and it's great but I want to get him something shaped like the vamo. Is there anything better than the vamo v6 at around the same price?

I'll be buying an aspire nautilus to go with it.

Thanks.

Aspire make some batteries that fit perfectly with Nautilus mini tanks.
