Car crushes. Cars you really wanted but it was never meant to be.

Lancia stratos and delta integrale.

EVO until I drove one and wasn't as impressed as I expected to be.

Z3m coupe. Never scratched the itch. Still might. Although the z3 2.8 I had as a second car felt very old and tired so I would want a good one.

205 GTI
R5 GTT
Starlet GT - the one with the glowing "GT" badge at the back
Saphire Cosworth

Supra has always had part of my heart. From watching F&F as a kid as well as playing Gran Turismo. I don't think I'll ever own one though.

Mazda RX-8.

Was just as they came out and a local garage had one on show on their roof and I thought it looked awesome. At some point later I was on a bus and I looked out the back window and someone was test driving it. I had the money to buy one, but didn't have a license :(

[EDIT] Just had a look for fun on autotrader and they are so cheap now, some sub 1k, hhhmmm.

Prices are only going one way!

The Coupe (even the non-M) is a different car the the roadster. One handles like a wet fish, one doesn't ;)

Capri 3.0 Essex V6 - the chemistry teacher at our school had one and it sounded amazing.
Detomasso Pantera - always my fave card in top trumps so always wanted one.

I can remember really wanting a Suzuki SC100 "Whizzkid" in my teens. Even back then they were quite rare and usually rusty, and I can't remember the last time I saw one on the road.

My old neighbor about 15 years back had a collection of weird and wonderful vehicles including an SC100 - it was still there some months ago so if you're dying for one, go knock on his door!

I think I can add E46 M3 and E39 to my list.

Both too expensive to buy/run/insure when I really wanted them, and now that I can afford them, they're both getting on a little bit too much for my liking.
