God it must be **** then. I was a huge oasis fan and Noel sang just about all of their best songs but I thought HFB had one decent track. The rest wouldn't make B sides on Oasis singles. I will listen to it later on spotify but I think like his brother he needs to accept their time has passed.

Nah, it's pretty good, it flows nicely and is a good listen as an Album.

After the Be Here Now era their B-sides were all fairly shocking overall. Which track was it that you liked on HFB?
I'm quite biased in that I'm a big fan of Noel's songwriting style, but I can see how the songs on HFB wouldn't appeal otherwise.
In my opinion there's three bad songs on it (the penultimate ones), but if I was forced to choose only the best on there, I'd probably narrow it down to Everybody's On The Run or AKA...What A Life!
I don't think you'd like the new album at all, I'm finding it decent but not as good as the first.
And I think you're dead on the money about their time having passed.

Heard this version recently and seems to have more power to it than the album version.
As an album its fairly good after more listens, a collection of solid if not amazing tracks but it flows well. Noel's HFB albums while not anyway near the first two Oasis albums is definetly superior to anything Oasis released since.
