ISIS and Islamic militants - discussion

^islam has had 1500 years to sort its ignorant violent cult out

It didn't, now they will lose all their history as islam eats itself.
hopefully it will do the planet a favour and die off.

Anyone thought rather than being a radicalised Muslim that 'Jihadi John' might just be a plain old serial killer who is using the opportunity that ISIS offers to carry out these heinous acts. Given the amount of so called experts interviewed since his identity became known, in fact anyone who remotely knew him is getting their fifteen minutes of fame, yet no one has mentioned the possibility that he is killing in this more personal way because he simply likes it?

But that wouldn't make 'good news' would it.

I imagine there's at least a fair few who just want to kill and would back any ideology that serves their needs. However proving that they became a serial killer by joining ISIS or joined isis because they were a serial killer is anyone's guess. I don't know how or if it could be distinguished.

Chicken and egg I guess.

I should add that personally why he's done it is of little concern to me only that he's done it.

Well what we do know about him and his family is

"Mohammed Emwazi's family granted asylum in 1996 after leaving Kuwait
They have since lived in five homes, one of which was worth £450 per week
Neither his father Jasem, 51, nor mother Ghaneya worked while in Britain
Westminster City Council is still paying rent on family’s £600,000 flat
One landlord described the family as ‘parasites’ and ‘tenants from hell’

"Emwazi’s father Jasem, who has six children, is back in his native Kuwait – the country he claimed he fled fearing for his life"

"Westminster City Council is still paying the rent on the family’s £600,000 flat even though the rules say housing benefit should normally be stopped after 13 weeks"

How many more are like this is the UK? Time to get tough.

How is he any different? He's over there fighting, slitting throats, in his own words for Islamic state

He is no different from the rest

£600,000 for a property in westminster sounds pretty cheap to me

Says the buy to let landord taking the housing benefit...

I know, I've never understood why you can't get housing benefit to help pay your mortgage if you become unemployed, but you can get it to pay for some other guys mortgage on what is one of multiple properties they own.

We should really crack down on the BTL market!

Besides the point - why are we housing asylum seekers in the most expensive part of the country?

Surely now we have to start to re-examine our obligations about taking asylum seekers, I don't mind taking in people in genuine need but this guy was from Kuwait, which has been stable for twenty years now - why wasn't he returned to his country instead of being allowed to stay here and produce jihadi John?

My point is that all we are hearing from all the so called experts is that he was radicalised yet he might just be someone who likes to kill and would probably had gone on to do it anyway but now he has found a way to satisfy his killer urges buy joining ISIS.

Why does this make a blind bit of difference though and is there any evidence of him just being a serial killer? He joined a redicalised group, so to be honest I couldn't give two craps what he is, he deserves the same as everyone else in the filthy group

All Islamic fighters are serial killers anyway so I really don't see a difference

ISIS are very useful,
better for islam to be revealed for what it truly is now, rather than have to wait a few more years and have it all kick off in this country.

So you find ISIS useful because they put islam in a bad light ?
Even though that means innocent people dying by their hands...what a wonderful person you are.

So the latest news are they have demolished an ancient site , when will we wake up, when they start tearing down relics in europe ?

I have to agree. Seeing the news today has angered me so much. The west really need to do more to disarm IS. If means throwing more money, more military at it then so be it. Seeing them idiots with sledge hammers in museums destroying history is upsetting and bewildering.

Agreed. It's a shame that no-one thought to move the treasures to a safer part of the world, like the British museum, when we had the chance :(
