I'm talking infinite in the sense that you have to dock and refill your ammo with other weapons. I never fire anything constantly. Well, except the single beam on my Eagle. I can fire that continuously without draining WEP even a little if I put full pips to it (which is rare because they're normally all in ENG). :p
 
Don't get me wrong (despite all my complaints) I do love the game, but it isn't really complete. If it was marketed as a Beta still that would be fair, but it is markets as a complete game. That being said, it is far more stable than many AAA games on release so can't complain on that front!

:confused: You could say that about any modern game since there be always something somebody wants to add or change.

Be grateful that Frontier are at least passionate about their product and are constantly updating and adding new features on a regular basis.

True, doesn't make it anymore right. But that is a comment about the gaming industry in general and not really fair to curse FD alone for it. Plus by buying it i have helped to proliferate such antics...but i never said i wasn't a hypocrite. :p
 
Hi all, I know this is probably a stupid question but how come all of the thrusters at the following station are unavailable except the B4 one highlighted?

The all say that they exceed the maximum mass but the B4 one has a higher mass than all of the others!?!?!?

Again I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I just can't get my head around it!
 
It's the mass they can support; not their own mass.

Flying a Cobra? You're going to need class 4 on that baby.

Watch out for FSD upgrades: it'll let you fit smaller (unlike those thrusters) but your jump distance will plummet.

I believe that David Braben promised backers a 2014 launch, hence the reason it was pushed out last Christmas; I agree that it should probably have been launched as an "early access" product, however I'm encouraged by the rate at which Frontier Developments have been releasing new content/fixes.

It's poorly worded, it should say that the mass of your ship would exceed the maximum rated capacity of that thruster module.
 
Yep, its a great game and tbh all i have played for the past 3 months or so. Its just needs that SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAA thing.

Wings will help, but being as i am stupid and only just figured out how to take Anacondas down without this happening i am much richer :)

 
Type 6 for trading just does not seem worth bothering with IMO. Just bought one then fully kitted it out & not only does it handle very sluggishly only has an extra 20t over my Cobra so back to the Cobra for now which means only another 50 rare runs @ 800,000cr profit each way to get the funds for a significantly better trading ship :eek:
 
That was a fun evening of bounty hunting in my Sidewinder :D

Managed to come across two wanted Anacondas beating the hell out of each other, so I pitched in shooting at them both... one blew up and I got a reward, the other was so badly damaged I was able to finish it off. Go me.

Upgraded all sorts in that little ship now, I'm really not sure what to do next!
